To be fair Dennis Wise got Millwall to a FA Cup final and into Europe which is the same as Strachan and he's seen as a managerial god.

if the fa dont give us a 10 point hit...

How could it possibly be a bad thing?!? -
Derby did it, seems fair that we can as well.
-
I think you will find it's Barclays who have got their wish.

I don't believe we will be put in admin, it makes no sense to do it 5 days after the cut off point. I expect we are being fed the threat of admin just to make it easier to stomach when Lowe/Wilde buy SFC from the holding company.
-
That's no reason for the timing, Lowe would have known the deadlines and what they would mean. Admin could easily have been announced before the deadline.
-
Unfortunately that is the only reason I can think of, that or Lowe is using the threat of administration and starting next season on -10 as leverage in some deal.
-
Does anyone have an explanation of the timing of this? Why have we risked starting next season on -10 when if it was anounced last wednesday we could have taken the hit this season. It doesn't add up.
-
Does anyone know why we are going into admin now and not last week before the deadline? It makes no sense to do it now when we could have taken the hit and given ourselves a chance next season.
-
You're right, it doesn't make any sense going into admin now when it could have just as easily have happened last week without a risk of starting next season on -10. Can anyone give a logical explanation?
-
The timing of it all points to a deduction being avoided. Surely if we were gonna get deducted this would have happened last week before the deadline?
-
Maybe if the council took over the debt then they would get more favourable rates on the mortgage, particularly in today's climate. The council can guarantee the future of SFC, which guarantees rent on the stadium, which guarantee's the mortgage being paid off - eventually.
-
It's all tax payers money, how much are the rates?
-
Wont the council lose out on business rates if SFC folds?
-
Because spending a fortune on pointless traffic lights is a way better investment...
-
There have been meetings with the council, I hope this is right.
-
there is no way in a million years this "parent company" ****** will stop us getting a points deduction, if anything the FA will make it worse.
-
Why didnt they do this last week? Now we will be relegated and ****ed over by a points deduction next year.
-
But if SFC folds how do they expect to get £23m for SMS?
-
So SFC could be sold and rent the stadium of SLH who would be in administration, then SLH would sell St Marys to the highest bidder to pay of the creditors. So in theory as St Marys is only of any use to SFC the value would not be very high and SFC could buy it back for a song and be mortgage free?
