  1. Another good away trip next year if the club is still around. There's a whole load of localish games next year, in total, 16 clubs level with or south of Birmingham.
  2. Here lies the problem, he says he's a frontman but as in the Bournemouth case and Saints previously he doesn't represent anyone. I just hope Fry realises that with Jackson he's not even talking to the organ grinder's monkey, it's a monkey who has contact to another organ grinder's monkey. I hope he pulls it off but I would bet my house and all it's contents nothing comes of this and more very costly time is wasted
  3. It's probably part of Jackson's plans, along with the global brand, worldwide Beckham soccer schools and monkey chicken zoo.
  4. The third division gets **** all coverage, makes **** all difference who shows the highlights it's all **** anyway.
  5. To be fair, going into admin doesn't mean it's dead.
  6. If Jackson is our only hope then we have no hope, he represents no one.
  7. The worrying thing is that even the people who pretended to be ITK are quiet, I'm pretty much resigned to us going out of business now. The fact that this Jackson bloke is even being considered shows how desperate a situation it is.
  8. Saints fans are no different to any others, it's nonsense to think that any investor would be put off by what happened to Lowe. In general our fans are quite a reasonable bunch, invade Cardiff - not a hint of trouble, take 2000 to Steua - the same. If anything the support is a reason to invest IMO. If Lowe had done a similar thing to that bunch of chavs down the M27 he would have got a lot worse, that is for sure.
  9. Bit of a difference between regenerating a derelict site with the help of the council and bulldozing an recently built asset of the city and replacing it with flats against the wishes of the council and the people of the city.
  10. But apart from the cost, which would not be financially viable for a site stuck between a gasworks, cement works and a bunch of chav flats in a **** hole area of town, they would need to get planning permission from a council who have made it plainly obvious they want Southampton to have a stadium. Also didn't the council gift the land to the club for the purpose of building a stadium because no one else wanted it?
  11. The point is no new owners are going to want to be saddled with a mortgage so if Aviva want anything back they are going to have to take a hit.
  12. Would protests outside their branches in town help highlight the bad PR it would cause?
  13. I thought the decision to place the company into admin was made by Lowe?
  14. How much value? It's not exactly a top conference venue without SFC's brand associated with it, how much is it worth as a concert venue?
  15. But without a football club the stadium's value is pretty much naff all.
  16. How does Fry expect to get £14mill on liquidation? Anyone looking to buy will look at what the banks will get if it all folds and offer a bit more, £7mill is probably about right.
  17. Well no one else has, Lowe and Wilde were supposed to be "fans" and they've just sculked away to their mansions. There are plenty of other wealthy Saints fans who havn't lifted a finger as well.
  18. I didn't call you a tosser because of your opinions, most people here probably have similar opinions as you of Crouch, you're just a tosser for chucking insults his way and having a dig at him when he's probably single handedly keeping YOUR football club afloat.
  19. There's not one person on here who thinks Crouch has been a perfect chariman, it's only a few tossers like you who choose to throw all the mistakes he has made back in his face the moment he may well have saved the club.
  20. What does that mean with regards to the -15 points for not agreeing a CVA?
  21. You really are a **** if you think Crouch is stumping up his hard earned cash just to deflect any criticism (which he only get's on here from you luvies).
  22. Would it be worth boycotting/protesting against Barclay's and Aviva? Probably make naff all difference but it is these two organizations that are actively trying to kill off the football club. It may help if the people of Southampton let them know exactly how they will feel should the worst happen. A peaceful/mildy violent demo outside their branches in town might grab some attention and add some pressure.
  23. Well done Leon, shame on Wilde and Lowe who continue to contribute naff all.
  24. It's amazing that they can get 90+mill investment yet an investor could get SFC for under a 10th of that and would get a club with a bigger stadium, better training/academy set up and a much bigger fan base. Fair play to Brighton though, their fans have had to put up with more than their fair share of grief.
