I don’t have a clue wether he has done anything illegal or not, neither do you. That’s been my point all along, only he and the other man know what went on. Just because I’m not jumping up and down screaming peado doesn’t mean I am defending what he did, I’m just going by what we know as facts. If the other guy was groomed and abused then we will find out more facts if it goes to court of if he comes out and gives an alternative account of what went on. Which he may well do.

Exactly. A rich famous older man shagging a 20 year old woman will barely make the news. He may well have groomed him but until there is any proof it's not fair at all to label him a nonce. If the other guy comes out and makes a complaint or any compelling evidence surfaces then fair enough.

Grooming is the act of befriending and manipulating, is there any evidence that happened? The other guy might have been the one making all the moves, we just don't know.

Could have, might have. Until there is actually some evidence we don't have a clue wether he was groomed or not. No one has even made a complaint yet.

It's obviously creepy and he's clearly a rat for cheating on his wife but if this the guy was over 18 when they started the relationship it's not for us to say what is wrong or right. At 18 you can choose to sleep with whoever you want as long as it's legal.

I’m not sure what James OBrien, whoever he is, does has any effect on libel laws. Anyway, the article above says they began their affair when the guy was 18. The fact that he knew him when he was younger doesn’t mean he groomed him.

Apparently some on here do. I would be interested to see what actual evidence they have. Everything I have read doesn’t even mention the guys age, it just that he had an affair with someone much younger than him. Rich old men have been shagging much younger women since the dawn of time without being labelled nonces.
