  1. If they want to calm down spending surely the best thing to do would be to tax the well off rather than just hike interest rates? Interest rate rises just fuck everyone over and I'm sure those worst hit will not be the ones spending most at the moment anyway so there will be a negligible effect on inflation.

    Israel

To be fair there is a link between the religion and the country. I used to work for a Jewish family business in North London, I was young at the time and knew precious little (or had any interest) about he situation in Israel but remember the boss telling me how he would happily go out there and fight for the country if he was ever needed. He is as English as you or me, born and bred in London yet he still saw it as his duty.

    Israel

True. I'm not sure anyone on here has criticised all Jewish people.
  4. I don't have huge expectations but he did get Swansea a few points from the play-offs and they seem to be in a world of shit finance wise. In theory his possession style should work much better with higher quality players (I know all styles should but it may just click with a more skilled team).

    Israel

There is the obvious link between the jewish religion and Israel though, it is s grey area. Especially as criticising or being anti-Israel can get one labelled as anti-semitic.
  6. Fuck me. Relegation hits home when you see that list of shite.
  7. A million times better than last season's disaster IMO. At least we will look like Southampton again.
  8. So it was a combined effort of the WHO and all the governments around the world to conspire to make a few billionaires richer. Brilliant. Glad we cleared that one up. Couldn’t possibly have been some businessmen seeing an opportunity and profiteering at everyone’s expense, that could never happen.
  9. Why do you say that?
  10. You seriously think that was the reason and they knew all along that virus was harmless? Governments all around the world just had to lockdown because everyone was desperate to stay indoors and wreck the economy. 😂😂😂😂😂
  11. That still doesn’t answer the question. If the government knew there was no risk why lockdown?
  12. An exercise of control. 😂
  13. You still haven’t answered the question. What would any government have to gain from enforcing lockdowns that they knew were not necessary?

    Russia

To be fair, Russia have shown themselves up as a complete paper tiger. They can’t even get a third of the way across Ukraine, they haven’t got a prayer of getting anywhere near the UK. Why do we need a massive military when they are no threat?
  15. No, it's being too busy to check what I write. You not got any floors to sweep?
  16. Cheers, Mr Spellcheck. Great contribution as usual. 👏
  17. Jesus wept, why don't you get a piece of paper and write out one hundred times: 'Only the elderly or people with underlying health conditions are at serious risk from Covid.' Maybe then it might sink in.
  18. Agree, it doesn't look good. What is it, 3 weeks wasted so far? If we are penny pinching over something like this then it doesn't really suggest our owners are going to bankroll us back up anytime soon.
  19. Of course they would. We knew right from the start it was only the elderly or vulnerable people who were at seriously risk. Have you spent he last 4 years in a coma or something?
  20. The fat sack of shit really is acting like a mini Trump now. Hilariously making out he has been undemocratically kicked-out of Parliament. Completely ignoring the facts, and as usual, lying to appeal to his thick-as-fuck fanbase. The Privileges Committee are elected MPs who were appointed by Parliament. Their recommendations are put to the house who then have to vote on whether there should be a by-election. And it’s the electorate who make the decision on whether he should be kicked out or not. It couldn’t be more democratic, the only irritating thing is that it has taken this long to work out what was screamingly obvious to everyone from day one.
  21. No. it's mental gymnastics. "I didn't agree with the sacking, but i said it was probably the right decision"
  22. I think it's clear to everyone who is the one struggling here.
  23. Just a bit weird that you bang on about it all the time, having a go at other fans, when you agreed with the sacking, that's all.
  24. Yet at the time you said sacking him was probably the right decision.

    Russia

We should. Definitely don't believe everything our media or government tell us. Read what people from Ukraine and Russia say and try to work out what is going on but when Putin opens his gob don't believe a single word he says. He's cut from the same cloth as Goebbels, Trump and Bozo. You fall into their trap when you believe their lie must be based on some grain of truth, it's how the 'big lie' works.
