There are plenty of weather sites that give you the temperatures around Europe - which one are you looking at?
-
As usual the point you make is just meaningless. Europe is a big place, temperatures vary depending on where you are. You should stick to threads about woke stuff or chicks with dicks - that's about your level.

What a twat.

If everyone thought like that nothing would get done. Your argument is bollocks anyway, you are saying countries cannot influence each other yet also saying why should we do it if others are not. Unless richer developed counties like us take the lead nothing will get done.

To be fair, whilst they also use a lot of coal China are investing massively in renewables: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2023/jun/29/china-wind-solar-power-global-renewable-energy-leader The cost of doing nothing will far outweigh the cost of transforming to a sustainable lifestyle, change is inevitable.

Maybe he is suggesting Ofcom tries to make sure it reports facts? Not just overhyped bullshit to get gammons like you all angry.

The guy might have been a twat but 61,672 is the estimated heat-related deaths in Europe last year according to this site: https://www.nature.com/articles/s41591-023-02419-z

Who's calling for it to be shut down? I'm definitely not, it's the best advert for keeping the BBC as it is you could wish for.

The United Kingdom and the Death of Boris Johnson as we know it.

Agree, not the same but some criticism of Israel is labelled Antisemitic. -
Sky News is good for keeping on top of the breaking stories but I think the BBC is better quality. GB News is just a joke channel.

If you say so Porky. It would be nice if they raised a decent amount of cash for charity. It would be nice if Saints won the league next year. It would be nice if I got a tug-job off Anna Kendrick. It would be nice if you could understand English. Not sure any of those will happen though.
-
No it suggested I wanted them to be successful, nothing else. It’s obviously going to be hard to sue Twitter users.
-
God knows, I never said they would be successful, just that it would be nice if they were. You should try reading, porky.
-
Who gives a shit how they vote, if it raises money for good causes it doesn’t matter where the money comes from. If someone is accusing you of something you didn’t do you would want to sue them regardless of their politics.
-
Good on them. Would be nice if they raise a decent amount.

What do you expect 19 year olds to deliver in The Premier League?

This. He does seem to be the right sort of character to bring a bit of positivity and passion to the place. So far so good. I still have my reservations but there is potential for a really good season if the players buy into his style of play and the squad is managed right.
-
Note he said squad not team. Squad.
-
Would add valuable experience to the squad, get it done.

Love the way he says "the time to speak is now" then proceeds to say nothing about his theory whatsoever. I really hope the is just taking the piss with these posts. It's bit tragic watching a former hero become such a laughing stock.

Fuck me, he's banging on about taking the knee again. -
I'm sorry, but anyone who refers to the 'Main Stream Media' as if it is a single entity controlled by the government is by default, a fucking idiot. They are separate companies all competing with each other who rarely agree on anything. Some of whom will always be actively trying to scrutinise or bring down whatever government is in charge. The only thing they have in common is that they will all be desperately looking for the biggest news story that will get them readers/viewers so if there is ever even a grain of truth in any of these ridiculous conspiracy theories they would be all over it quicker than you can say free-market press.

Not according to this YouGov survey, but I guess you know best. https://yougov.co.uk/topics/society/articles-reports/2022/07/20/where-does-british-public-stand-transgender-rights By gender: Women are more likely than men to support greater transgender rights across all questions Across the board, women are more likely than men to support greater transgender rights. In fact, the only transgender issue on which men tend to be supportive is that people should be able to socially identify as a different gender to the one they had recorded at birth, by 47% to 33% (a net score of +14). While this may be the most pro-trans stance men take, it is also the one on which they are farthest behind women. More than six in ten women (63%) say people should be able to identify as another gender socially, compared to only 18% who disagree, giving a net score of +45. When it comes whether someone can change their legal gender status, men tend to be opposed, by 42% to 36%. Women remain in favour, although only a plurality of 44% say so, with 32% opposed. Much of the contention around trans rights has focused on transgender women and their access to women’s spaces. It is pertinent to note, therefore, that in all cases women are notably more relaxed about the prospect of a trans woman in a woman’s space than men are. The degree to which women are comfortable sharing their space with trans women does differ, however, depending on the venue. While women tend to think that trans women should be allowed to use women’s refuges for victims of rape or assault by 45% to 30%, and women’s toilets by 45% to 34%, allowing trans women in women’s changing rooms is more divisive, with 40% in favour but 37% opposed. Whether a trans person has had gender reassignment surgery also matters, with women tending to say trans women who have not undergone such surgery should not be allowed to use women’s toilets (40% vs 34%) or changing rooms (42% vs 29%). In all cases, men tend to oppose trans women’s access to women’s facilities, and by notable margins.
