Exactly. The ideology of some has all westerners as legitimate targets to be slayed, the last thing we need is anything to trigger these nutters off.
-
Whatever the reason it has had an effect.
-
Havn't anti-semitic attacks over here already increased since 7/10?
-
Exactly. Events like this will obviously risk tipping some nutcase over the edge. Seeing images of Palestinian babies being blown up then hearing people over here getting angry because Wembley isn't lit up in the colours of the country responsible.
-
Brilliant! From someone who quotes an IDF website as proof.

Israel have to appear to be acting 'reasonably' because their existence relies on support from the USA. The situation is very difficult but there is always a balance between killing the enemy and civilian casualties - we have seen it for years in Iraq and Afghanistan. IMO the scenes from Gaza show there is little or no regard for innocent civilians, very much more like the Putin playbook than what we seen previously from the coalition.
-
You don't seriously expect the Israelis to say they don't give a shit about civilian casualties do you? Judge them by what they do not by what they say.
-
Seriously? Why would you flatten whole neighbourhoods if you want to reduce civilian casualties? You are living in a dream world. Israel don't give a fuck about Palestinian civilians, they are just getting revenge, pure and simple.
-
There's some middle ground though and from what I have seen Israel put very little value on the lives of innocent Palestinians - as they have done historically.
-
One that put a bit more value on the lives of the innocent people living in Gaza. It looks to me like Israel are just dishing out collective punishment as revenge more than trying to destroy specific Hamas targets.
-
You can't compare a world war with how a country deals with a terrorist group within it's own population. No-one is on the side of Hamas here, the more innocent Palestinians die the more hatred for Israel builds up amongst the Palestinians and their Arab neighbours - it just makes things like the Oct 7 massacre more likely in the future.
-
Yeah, just not on the side of murdering 2,500 kids.
-
It’s not a fucking football match, you can be on the side of innocent people wether they live in Israel or the Gaza Strip. What Hamas did was awful but so is what Israel is doing now, 5000 dead supposedly about half of that figure is kids.
-
It's impossible to be completely impartial but the BBC is as close as you will get in today's media.
-
Same could be said of those who scream anti-semitism when one criticises Israel. They are making the same association between the country and the race.
-
Maybe it is good because of how it is financed?
-
It is great value for money, especially if paying it pisses off wankers like you.
-
Because they have been bombing the shit out of Gaza all week and have previously hit other hospitals and ambulances? Getting to the truth with these sort of things during wartime is always going to be hard, it’s not hard to see why assumptions were made tho. Hopefully some independent experts can come to some conclusions.
-
I think you would expect opinions to have changed somewhat since then.
-
They don't need to do that, they can just turns whole neighbourhoods into rubble with their bombs.
-
I expect there's plenty in Israel who feel the same way about the Palestinians.
-
Except killing thousands of innocent people and flattening a whole city is just going to create more future jihadis, and more support for the jihadis cause from surrounding countries. Making a future attack much more likely.

Israel claiming it was a miss-fired rocket from Islamic Jihad. Hmmm I'm not sure. Do Islamic Jihad even have rockets with that sort of capability? The rockets they shoot off look like the ones that can be launched from the back of a 4x4, I've seen videos of them landing and they don't look like the type that could do that sort of damage. When was the last time one landed in Israel and killed anywhere near 500?
