Why the fuck do you put Smallbone in if you need to get a winner?
-
Or after the game on Friday they assessed his fitness and decided he couldn’t play another 90 straight away?
-
Obviously to most, some need to have a little cry about something tho.
-
Apart from the clever corner Norwich have done fuck all.
-
Even if the defender missed it he still would have been onside if the other players were not classed as interfering- that’s always been a grey area.
-
It’s just a figure of speech fella.
-
Hopefully they will choke when we get to the real pressure games towards the end, they certainly looked like a bag of nerves toward the end of today’s game.
-
He is just shit. One of the main reasons we went down, and the main reason we are not in the top two. I would be amazed if any Premier side were after him.
-
At least we get shot of Adams next season.
-
I guess they are probably expecting the F-16s soon so their air defence guys are getting a bit twitchy
-
Brooks looked their most dangerous player when he was on. Odd.
-
Couldn’t think of anything worse than playing them cunts in a play-off final.
-
The left are bound to be more concerned about right wing broadcasters breaking impartiality rules, that’s just obvious.

Think you need to learn to read because I have never said that. I know she didn’t cause the global rise in rates, that’s why I compared her to Brown who also didn’t cause the global crash yet still got hammered at the ballot box. Maybe I should have got my crayons out.
-
Gordon Brown didn’t cause the financial crash but it didn’t work out too well for him. Fact is many people vote for selfish reasons and if they feel like they are worse off they are less likely to vote for the incumbent. The Conservatives try and win votes by painting themselves as the experts on the economy yet come ballot time everyone will remember this:
-
Never said it was the primary reason, it’s just a factor that will make a difference. Great point as usual tho

Because, even ignoring the rise in house prices and cost of living, it’s not as easy to get a mortgage now as it was in the 90s when I got on the ladder. Buying a house for me was actually easier than renting. To rent you usually needed to pay a months rent deposit plus a months rent up front to even get a place. I bought a house when I had next to nothing in the bank, that’s just impossible today.
-
It would be harder for someone in that situation today.
-
Maybe, but they would probably have to save for a deposit. When I brought my first house I had not long left uni and barely had a penny to my name. I got a 101% mortgage and brought a 3 bed in that range. As I said, we had it piss easy in comparison.
-
I don’t think that’s fair. It’s incredibly hard for young people nowadays to get on the ladder compared to when I brought my first house, even for those with half decent jobs who are careful with their money. Renting is just throwing money down the drain so it’s only natural that many will be maxed out already and hit hard by the rate rise. Comparatively me and my parents generation have had it piss easy, many sat on massive equity with decent pensions just through riding the house bubble.
-
There are all sorts of reasons why people vote how they do, if people feel worse off it generally doesn’t help the party in power, that is just obvious.
-
I wasn’t moaning about my mortgage, I’m on a fixed for a while yet. My point was that if people are struggling financially they tend to take it out on the party in power when they vote. I would imagine they will this time particularly given how the Conservatives crashed the economy so spectacularly causing rates to shoot up. That spell it out clearly enough for you or do you want me to draw some pictures with crayons?
-
Also, with every month that goes by there are thousands more people who are worse off because they have had to renew their mortgage.
-
They are a complete mess under Sunak, it's just gaff after gaff. Last week it was them making a big song and dance about extremists hijacking our democracy, now it turns out extremists are funding their party. You couldn't make it up.

Kensington Palace needs to employ someone better at Photoshop? It really is a load of fuss about nothing, pretty much everything you see is photoshopped to some extent, they have just done a shit job.
