Lib Dem for me. I would happily see Blair and Bush in The Hague for the Iraq war. I thought that war was wrong just like I think what Israel is doing now is. It’s not just about the collateral damage, it’s the collective punishment - destroying homes and infrastructure and denying innocent people water, food and medical supplies.

Well that was just boring. This sideways shit is just getting frustrating now. I get the idea that if we have the ball they can’t be attacking us, but also every minute we fuck about with it at the back means we are not attacking either. Against some sides you are better off just risking losing possession to actually get forward.

That’s the key point though isn’t it. Why do a bunch of terrorists like Hamas have so much support? I believe that generally the vast majority of people are good people. Wether you are Palestinian, Israeli, Russian or Ukrainian. Christian, Jew or Muslim - we are all basically the same but just live in different circumstances. If people are getting fucked over by another group of people then terrorists on their side will get support from normal people. If we had our land occupied by another group some of us would just keep our head down and get on with our lives, others would fight back and do terrible things to their side, it’s just human nature. The only way to ever find a solution is to marginalise the extremists in both sides but every killing that happens on either side makes that harder and harder.

Hopefully we should be nicely placed for the playoffs. The top three are miles ahead so that should go down to the wire, if it does it is going to be tough for whoever misses out to lift themselves for the semi. Best case scenario is Ipswich just miss out after Leeds beat Saints reserves in the final game then end up having to play Norwich in the semi. It might be an advantage to us to have time to prepare mentally and physically as well as tactically. Or we could just fuck it up.

Obviously a lot depends on how we finish the season but if we had the same points at this stage last season we would be comfortably in second place - 6 points clear of third with two games in hand. I guess much will spend of what happens to the squad, I wouldn't fancy playing our style on a budget.

I don't like people's rights being denied anywhere but the Palestinian thing particularly grates with me because of the UK's history with the creation of Israel and our government's support for the country. My grandad and great uncle both served in the region during and after WW2. When Israel commit an atrocity many in the muslim world see it as us (the west) as responsible. We like to see ourselves as people who stand up fro human rights and there is an obvious hypocrisy there.
