Clearly missed my posts on the Ukraine thread then. I find the lack of concern of human rights from many Islamic states just as repugnant as Israel but this thread is about Israel so that’s what I have commented on, not sure why that is surprising. I’m sure I mentioned my feelings on Islamic governments when Qatar was being discussed during the World Cup. To be honest I am not a fan of any religion, in my opinion anyone who makes life choices based on a centuries old book is an idiot so the idea that I have something specifically against Jews is just laughable.

I've noticed that Arabs getting shot doesn't particularly bother you, seems to be a common trait on this thread It bothers me, I think the Saudi regime's record on human rights is a disgrace, I would happily see sanctions against them or at least we should stop supplying arms. To them and Israel. I don't have time for a lot of these Islamic countries, doesn't change how I feel about what is happening in Palestine.

Why don't you start a thread on Saudi Arabia, then maybe people will express an opinion on it? I'm surprised you didn't think of that.
  4. I dunno, it has pissed some people off in the party, especially those on the left, but 99% of the electorate won't know anything about Elphicke or even care. To the vast majority it's just going to be another Tory who thinks Sunak is shit and Labour offer a better alternative.
  5. I don't know about the worst but the best one to watch is definitely Roy Keane when Man Utd are playing shit.
  6. It's getting to the point where the longer he delays calling a GE the worse it looks for the government. The electorate clearly want change and he is dragging it out for obvious selfish reasons. The fact that not even his party members, let alone the British people voted for hm to be PM makes it look even worse.
  7. That's nonsense, they should be practiced over and over by the whole team so that when they step up under pressure they don't even have to think about where they are going to put it. Le Tiss was the best penalty taker the Prem has ever seen and I remember watching him practice them before games at the Milton End all the time. If practicing helped him I'm pretty sure the likes of Ryan Manning would benefit from it.
  8. Yeah, and we seem to be particularly good at shooting our selves in the foot.
  9. I never said it was unique to us. We just seem to be able to fuck up games we should win easily, I’m sure many other teams do as well.
  10. Agree with this, we took WBA apart on their patch earlier this year. We do have the ability to fuck it up against anyone though so it’s hard to get your hopes up.
  11. Exactly, trans women have been using female toilets for donkey’s years.
  12. He was just responding to a load of nonsense over someone saying "individual with a cervix" which was inclusive of trans men. I don't see the problem with that. We all know women have cervixes, we all know that trans men were born female - why not show trans men that respect? It does no-one else any harm. Starmer also said "We need to have a mature, respectful debate about trans rights and we need to... bear in mind that the trans community are amongst the most marginalised and abused communities." so it's easy to see why he said what he did even if it did come across a bit daft.
  13. Might as well play the reserves and make it as physical as possible. I definitely wouldn’t risk any key players.
  14. It’s like trying to explain algebra to a potato.
  15. Not really, he was obviously uncomfortable answering the question and his answer was clumsy but he was clearly just trying to show some empathy towards the trans community ( I think that was the context at the time). It was a stupid question, everyone knows the biology - I really don't get what anyone has to gain from telling a trans person what they already know, unless of course, they are doing it just to insult.
  16. I don't disagree about his brand of football, it will probably be a disaster. However sacking him and having the clowns in charge choose another manager would more likely end up worse IMO. His brief was to get us promoted and he deserves the chance to prove himself if he is successful, you would like to think he would have the common sense to tweak the style when up against Prem teams.
  17. Keep if we go up, if we don't then I'm not fussed either way. It depends who we can get to replace him, I certainly wouldn't sack him unless there was a decent candidate already lined up willing to take the job.
  18. Don't be such a drama queen. Plenty of clubs would love to be in the play-offs with a chance of getting to the Prem.
  19. He does have a point though, this place does tend to be more negative than the fans that are actually in the stadium.
  20. Was a dead rubber anyway, just hope we don’t pick up any injuries or suspensions.
  21. Aribo strolling back like he doesn’t give a shit.
  22. Makes sense not to risk him if he's not 100% for what is now just a dead rubber.
  23. This. It’s impossible to tell from that freeze frame wether the ball is touching his foot or wether it’s a split second after it left the foot.
  24. I would class that as in line given the limitations of VAR, I’m usually in favour of it but these hairline offsides are bollocks.
