Would look ok if it didn’t have that awful sponsor’s logo on the front.

We have some great attacking midfielders but I don't think the squad is as strong in other areas. The keeper is the best of a bad bunch, left back we were weak, centre back not as strong as previous squads. Centre midfield there were not massive options. I certainly don't see coming second as failure.
-
Coming second IS success for a country as shit as England.

Don't blame him for getting out, it really is a poisoned chalice. Too bigger expectations for a country that has won fuck-all for over half a century.

Assault on the capitol.

We will probably get stuffed but do have a puncher’s chance with the talent we have up front. Spain have been by far the best team throughout but if I remember rightly they did let France have a few chances so hopefully…

Obviously the shooting of anyone is wrong but it’s hard to have any sympathy for Trump given that he has actively encouraged political violence before which led to more deaths. Also it’s politicians like him that are the main reason for the retarded gun control policies in the states that directly results in incidents like this. The political points scoring that has followed is just as depressing as the shooting itself, the country is fucked up.

That country is so fucked up, god knows what this means for the election.

Just seems like a pointless risk to take, it’s tough on Ukraine in the current situation but by keeping it as a proxy war we are killing Russians and depleting their military without putting ourselves in the firing line. Russia are taking massive losses and getting next to nowhere, time is on our side.
-
It would be a hell of gamble to assume Russia wouldn’t attack. Plus there will always be a risk of a mistake or trigger happy general sparking something. NATO just need to keep it as it is but step up the arms supply to Ukraine IMO.
-
I dunno, it would make WW3 a lot more likely. What happens when a Russian missile takes out a load of NATO troops?

Back onto the important issue again.

While they are inside. If they just go on to reoffend when they get out it may be more cost effective to focus on rehabilitation.

Unless ‘tough on crime’ means reducing crime, not just locking up as many people as possible.
-
That's bollocks, add their votes together and they would only have got 49.4% of the vote.
-
If Farage makes PR happen then it can only be a good thing. It's fantastic that the Tories are out but the vote share shows how fucked our electoral system is.

Interesting story
-
That’s just fucking tragic

Just looked like a bunch of excellent individuals not playing as a team. Will lose to the first good team we face, probably Switzerland.
-
Kane has done fuck all, Southgate need to grow a pair and make a change.
-
Still a massive difference to what a Trump did. Wanting a second referendum because you felt people were lied to is completely different to making up conspiracy theories about a vote being rigged.

Great news getting a reserve keeper signed for a couple of years. Look forward to the new no1 coming in now.

It is mind-boggling how it has come to this, a convicted criminal vs a senile old man for the leader of the free world. It would be funny if there wasn't so much depending on it re: the war vs Russia. Having a pal of Putin in the White House is not going to be great for the current situation. Surely Biden can pull out of health grounds, he is clearly not up to the job now, let alone in 4 years time. Just need someone to hide his meds for a day or two.
-
But those countries and similar are the NATO ‘expansion’ that old rubber face has been blaming the war on. If NATO didn’t let these countries join just because they were scared of Russia what sort of message do you think that would have sent to Putin?

Bellingham has been garbage the last two games, I would start with Palmer next game.
