Risk of catching and thus spreading the virus is very much linked to profession.
-
The bottom line is the fact the whole point in them wading in was to prevent a Covid risk yet they ended up creating one. A thick old gammon like you is never going to side with a bunch of soppy London lefties so I don’t see the point in arguing any more.
-
They waded in to prevent a Covid risk (despite the fact that the vast majority of people had already left when asked) yet their actions caused more people to gather the following evening to protest - creating a Covid risk. They achieved nothing except piss off a load of soppy Londoners.
-
They might have done if the plod had waded in and forced them to go home.

I get the fact that high risk people need vaccinating first, fuck me it’s not rocket science. When it comes to people in their 40s and 50s it surely must make sense to vaccinate those who spend their whole day in contact with other people first. Like I said, it doesn’t matter in the slightest when I get my jab because I don’t need to leave the house, much better a teacher or cab driver has it before me regardless of age.
-
Yep, like other forces did in other vigils around the country.
-
It is odd how they are not prioritising teachers and other occupations that have to face up to the general public everyday. You would think that would make more of a difference to the r rate than vaccinating a load of slightly olde people who can work from home and not have to come into contact with anyone. I’m in my 40s and have yet to have it, makes little difference to me because I can work from home.

Ah bless, my stalker is back! It’s cute that you spend your time wondering about my posts, little bit weird tho. I don’t really disagree with the report, it’s as predictable as your stalking. It doesn’t mean the police made the right decision, just means they didn’t use excessive force when confronting and forcing the people to leave the vigil. If the aim was to reduce the risk of spreading they failed, all they achieved was a public relations disaster.

Looks like it will be up to the local authority as to wether fans can travel to the area or not. If they don't let people come from Southampton or Leicester then locals will make a killing on eBay flogging the tickets. -

I dunno, their ticket policy almost put me off as the lads I usually go with were all in different categories. Wembley is a day out so people should have been able to buy groups of tickets for their family or friends from the off. -

The club completely fucked up the sale of those, they should have just allowed any member to buy whatever they wanted from the off, would have sold out easy IMO. -

Had to laugh at one of the posts on there: Someone asked what time’s kick-off, reply was “every 10 minutes” -
Ooooooo a naughty chant, definitely the same as setting fire to a police vehicle.
-
Yeah because policing riots in Bristol is the same as policing a bunch of soppy Londoner women holding a candlelight vigil for a murder victim.
-
Well plenty of other teachers manage to teach the same curriculum without ending up with a lynch mob of bearded jihadis outside the school gates.
-
Maths is a vital part of the curriculum, there is nothing you can’t teach without showing the class a picture of Muhammad, unless it’s a Muhammad illustration class.
-
Exactly. I don’t have much time for any religion and don’t know a great deal about Islam but even I know they have issues with pictures of Muhammad after the Danish and Charlie Hebdo stuff. Surely any teacher would know it’s better off steering clear of that minefield. That said the idiots outside are also a bunch of twats.
-
To be fair, wasn’t Life of Brian banned in a lot of places when it was first released? Must have been right snowflakes back in 1979.
-
Well some genius has managed to insult a bunch of Muslims, who would you blame?
-
Brilliant! From the print cartridge salesman.

Because if we win I was planning on celebrating by drinking enough alcohol to kill a small horse, now I have to worry about being in a fit state for work the next morning. -
If anyone gets their head cut off it’s the fault of the twat cutting the head off.

Then he’s ignorant then, as I said.
