If we go with our A game I see no reason to come away with 3pts, as WBA nearly did it, but for a dodgy reffing decision.....reality bites and it will be a close loss or a very good draw .. 2-1 or 1-1 (hoping for a 0-2)....

As long as we improve on last season, I will be happy. As someone has already stated Christmas last year we were sat in 17th so any thing is an improvement on that. With current form and position and the tough set of fixtures coming up I would be happy with anything above 10th (secretly wishing we stay in top 4 or 5)......just enjoying the season at the moment....

England defence is about as strong as a chocolate fire guard ...

Think a Rooney lambert lallana front line would be pretty amazing, if they are allowed to interchange positions a la saints style

Interesting stats....maybe compare the stats after the first ten games for both, but for some that wouldn't be good either because of the teams we started against last season compared to this season..... Just can't please everyone....!

I'm not one for posting often on this 'ere forum, but I do spend a lot of time reading other peoples posts....so I am somewhat confused as to whether early signing are good or not....I am certain that a number of the post on this thread are meant to be sarcastic in there nature, but as is often the case sarcasm doesn't translate well in the written word. Also there was much harumphing last pre-season with the supposed lack of transfer activity in the close season, with either the purchasing of the wrong type of player, purchasing too late etc. This close season the "management" have decided to go and buy early, and its still not right (to some on here!). I think its a case of buggered if you don't and buggered if you do with regards to transfers. IMHO early can only be good, to allow the new player to settle in to his surroundings, then they can crack on with the business of playing football. Awaits expectantly for the torrent of abuse that is likely to follow when an infrequent poster posts.....
