I can't recall a more blatant biased refereeing performance. Back pass ignored. Freekick to them on the edge of the area for a clean tackle. Clear penalty not given. Their keeper handled outside the area. Nothing. Every challenge by us: free kick. Every challenge by them: play on. Yellow card not given. Liverpool are good enough to win the league fairly. Try looking at it realistically. Maya is 4th choice. He's out of contract in the summer and won't get another one. In my opinion, he's been a brilliant servant to the club and has my total respect. I thank him for the great things he's done for Saints and wish him well. This move gives him a chance to have one more episode in his career. But for the rest of this season, if we need to call on a 4th choice, this means we can assess Danso in his proper position. Otherwise he'll sit on the bench and we'll never find out how good or bad he is. And hopefully, in a few games time, we'll be safe enough to give him game time if we want to. I'd like to see KWP start. Don't think Valery is an option after a long lay-off and, IIRC, his last game was 0-9. Not the right game or time for rehabilitation. The only other alternative at RB is JWP as I'm ruling out Danso who looked really out of place last week. But I'd rather he kept his midfield place where he's been excellent.
