  1. Sometimes life isn't fair. I've got nothing against them but they haven't won the league. It's like a game being abandoned because the floodlights fail after 75 mins when you're 7-0 up. You don't get awarded a win. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
  2. Season is void. You simply can't make a series of arbitrary and random decisions. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk

  5. The flip side of the argument that we should stop the league now and final positions are current standings, like in a stopped F1 race, is that in an F1 race, at the pint it's stopped, everyone has been raving for the same time under the same conditions. If we stop the league now, it's not a level playing field. Some teams have actually played fewer games. They've all played different teams. Some have tough fixtures left, others not so. This simply doesn't work, neither does any artificial way of deciding things. If a football match is abandoned, the game is null and void, no matter what the score. It should be the same for this season. Declare it null and void. Have a long summer break and hope we can start again in August, as we were last August. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
  6. You're right. That would never happen. There are only two options. Try to complete the season, but that is impossible to define and will mess up next season and is IMO a bad idea, or declare the season null and void - would be very unpopular in some quarters, but is by far the best solution. No surprise that ex-Liverpool players want the season completed, and Sky too as otherwise they have a massive hole in their schedules and an argument over paying for games not shown. No surprise either that Sky want all tournaments they don't cover cancelled. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
  7. It's what he wants as part of his jokey, pally man of the people image. Which is why I refer to him only as Johnson. (Well, I call him plenty of other things. But that's another story) Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
  8. Absolutely. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
  9. Interesting, but I fear riddled with problems. Many players' contracts end June 30th. Some clubs could lose several players. And are season-long loans extended? What about all the ground maintenance needed in the Summer? And other bookings for stadia? And I'm not sure how you can fairly split one league into two. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk

  14. It's going to be massively contentious whatever happens, but unless a way can be found to complete the season I think it has to be declared null and void. It would be ridiculously unfair to call today's position the final status. Some teams near relegation have much harder run-ins than others. It's no surprise West Ham want annulment (although I guess they would take today's position too). Yes, Liverpool, Leeds West Brom would be understandably livid and I'm pretty sure the lawyers would have a field day. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk

  20. I have agreed that he worked hard defensively, which is good to see but not his prime function, which is to be creative. As has been said many times, his weakness is that after beating one or more players, there's no vision. If he doesn't get a shooting chance it's unlikely he'll find a useful pass. Maybe there's hope as Redmond used to be like that. But I fear Boufal is a much slower learner. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk
