  1. Don't worry. I can see them struggling with L1 next season. And with the bank. And HMRC.
  2. Just need a couple of Everton red cards/ injuries now.
  3. Pleased that we're keeping the socially distanced two leagues apart.
  4. There must be a doubt over how many L1/2 clubs can survive. They certainly can't afford to play without fans.
  5. Must be in a dire state. Be a shame if we lose our ridiculously bad fishy neighbours
  6. 😀😂😀😂😀😂
  7. Oxford 0-1 Skates ☚ī¸â˜šī¸
  8. I am salivating with anticipation of the Man City edition. 😀😀😁😁
  9. We scored the first ever PL away goal scored in June.
  10. For me it's a close call, but I'm sure they'll both get time. I think Shane has been slightly off his normal pace since we came back so probably just favour Che starting.
  11. Think I'd agree. Romeu seems revitalised and more disciplined since we came back. Overall I'm impressed with the fitness levels and I think the club did a great job in monitoring regimes in lockdown. We've looked fitter and sharper than pretty well all the other teams I've seen. Only Adams looked tired at 60 mins yesterday (probably emotional shock at scoring) and our lack of energy against Arsenal which cost us the game was largely due to the heat.
  12. My thoughts too. This squad is beginning to come together well. They're playing for each other with commitment, doing what Ralph wants and looking better every game. Rather than putting the squad under the pressure of coping with Europa, especially as I doubt fans will be able to travel/go to games, I'd rather see us have a solid top eight or better season and get into Europe when we're ready.
  13. Not that it was in doubt, but has it been mentioned that this result does make us mathematically safe?
  14. I think you mean City play away like a home team
  15. I'm not having that. Probably because I'm just tired of negativity.
  16. Before the restart I picked up that Saints had used a very rigorous monitoring system of players' home training and had prepared very thoroughly for the restart. Of the games I've seen, I'd say Saints are the fittest team on return. We're pressing hard, have high tempo and are running hard right to the end of games and aren't using the full squad of subs. Needs to be a lot of credit for this preparation.
  17. On the build-up thread I nearly commented that it was more like a Man City appreciation thread. I'd like to mention to all those who used the thread to say how brilliant City are and we should be honoured to be in the same pitch as them that I did ask why we couldn't beat them and, for the record, I was right. Well done Saints. Just brilliant.
  18. Normally you'd be thrilled to see Sterlong And Mahrez go off. But De Bruyne and Foden come on ☚ī¸
  19. How the f*** didn't that go in?
  20. Whatcha way to break your duck
  21. Djenepo, Long, Obafemi on the bench. Otherwise very inexperienced.
  22. McCarthy KWP Stephens Bednarek Bertrand JWP Romeu Armstrong Redmond Ings Adams
  23. Adams starts!
  24. I hate to say it as I'd love WHU to go down, bit they are unfortunately significantly less bad than the other contenders.
  25. Although it's possible for Watford or West Ham to get drawn back in, it looks more and more like Bournemouth and Villa with Norwich.
