Without the -10 we were 3 points short of automatic having played a weakened team at Gills last week. And that was after an incredibly difficult start with no pre-season. Since Sept, our form has been automatic promotion. I would be devastated to see AP go.

There are two Thai options on Portswood Road. Sara's Thai is cosy, entertaining and not too expensive. Mango Thai has been recommended and gets high Tripadvisor ratings - sort of Thai tapas bar which could be fun. Going to try it for the first time on Saturday after Southend.

The policy would either be whatever league Palace would have been in next season has one less relegated this season, and the same for all leagues below as it ripples down, so in each league a team gets a reprieve, or if it's after fixtures are sorted, I imagine one league would operate a team short until the end of the season, then as above. Be good to think of a scenario in which there's an extra promotion place that we miraculously grab, but it won't happen.

The rule is that the keeper cannot touch the ball with his hands (he doesn't have to hold it or pick it up) if it has been passed back by another player (with his feet). So if you assume Fonte did that deliberately, the offence was committed when Davis parried the ball. If the ref had decided Fonte was trying to hoof it over the bar, not back to Davis, and miskicked, there would have been no offence.

Likewise, a draw at Stockport and loss to Colchester keeps hopes alive, but of course the moment they get a win, it's all over. Oh, just remembered - we have to win all 3 without Spiderman. Realistically, I'll be deliriously happy if there's still a mathematical chance on the last day. And whatever happens, it's been a great season. There are too many with short memories who seem to have forgotten the early season ambition to avoid relegation, or at best achieve mid-table.

Looking back, the last two minutes of Huddersfield - Walsall will be the defining moments. If Walsall had held on, Huddersfield would have been under pressure tonight, but they weren't and managed a result. This week could easily have been 1 point at best for them, but they got 6 and that will be too much for us.
