I'm really worried the bus driver will pick up an injury. What the ?*?* will we do if we're all on the bus and it's going nowhere?
-
But wouldn't that be dishonest and disgraceful and defrauding people of money?
-
BBC Gossip column: Portsmouth boss Steve Cotterill has banned his players from using Twitter, telling them they face being fined £1,000-per-word if they tweet. Must be some unhappy bunnies........
-
Have we beaten the Skacel record yet?
-
How did you get access to the treatment room for Connolly's?
-
I may be a wild optimist but I don't think he's leaving any time soon. Everything has been whipped up by press speculation to sell papers to Prem supporters with very little basis in fact.
-
I accept the flaw in my thinking. Just as long as it gets sung!
-
Don't believe we are selling him and as I posted ages ago, his name fits perfectly Knees Up Mother Brown.
-
Can't make the game anyway because of family commitments and was initially disappointed, but now just can't seem to care. Result is unimportant as long as it doesn't affect confidence. Avoiding injuries is important. I hope we play the same team that beat Blackpool, less AL. Going to both Tranmere and Hartlepool away instead and looking forward to both.

Understand he came off "after a knock" but nothing on the OS.
-
The beauty of it is that he is not consistently predictable. In any one interview he will find a new favourite phrase and repeat it ad infinitum, but he seems to find a new one each time. It really makes things exciting.

See your point but, with respect, that's just a bit too surreal even for me, and I'm totally surreal. So I prefer the wheels on the bus going round and round. Of course, we'll have to teach it to fans not old enough to have children.
-
Agreed. Don't change the words. Also totally incomprehensible to most commentators, which is excellent.
-
??? I thought the point was, it's a bus.
-
We are indeed all on the bus and long may the wheels go round and round. (That really is a song we need to adopt now to sing at every moment of success. It's perfect. Simple, humorous, lets NA know we love him)
-
Probably very close but I wouldn't be surprised to see Jaidi start instead of Seaborne against a physical side.

Of course, Sky's vested interest in The Premier League and to a lesser extent the Football League has a lot to answer for. They don't have the rights to FA Cup ties so play it down, and a huge number of sad plastic fans happily take their lead and assume the Cup is an irrelevancy. And with the Sky money being so important, especially at PL level, clubs can't be blamed for reinforcing that view with their team selections. Incidentally, very similar reasons lie behind the demise of international football in England.

Am I alone in finding it hugely disappointing that a once great competition is now regarded by so many as a distraction to be avoided? It seems ludicrous that so many clubs are playing weakened teams in the hope of losing. In fact, it makes me wonder how many ties will be played between teams both trying fairly hard not to win? Football, but not as we know it, Scottie.

Found this on the BBC Sport site. Seems Blackpool don't have a great Cup pedigree! (Sorry if already posted) BLACKPOOL FA Cup form • Lost 99 FA Cup matches. • Third round victims in each of the last three years. • The fourth round appearance in 2007 is their best performance in 20 years. • Lost the last four ties, and not won a match in the competition since then Conference club Aldershot Town were beaten 4-2 in the third round at Bloomfield Road in January 2007.
