  1. Can you think of a better way to distinguish between ST holders, who are assumed to attend all home games?
  2. I hope it's in his contract that he's not allowed to score. 🤣🤣
  3. I think they've done it fairly. No system will please everyone but the percentage going to high-attending fans is low. Hopefully the 2000 will increase in the New Year. And I've done my bit to increase your chances as I think I'm eligible for the second tier, but I'm opting out for now.
  4. Yes, but doubt he'll start
  5. I've lived close to Shrewsbury for 35 years and no-one knows the correct pronunciation. There's historical evidence that it may have originally been Shrowsbury, do that's correct, but try telling that to the other half of the town. Even my family is split 50/50.
  6. My local team.
  7. I'm opting out until the New Year. Want to see family at Christmas so don't want unnecessary risks. Don't want to use the train, so it's a long drive, no pub, little chance of friends going and I think it'll be very strange in the stadium.
  8. I'm opting out until the numbers get bigger
  9. 2000 fans is just a gesture. My understanding is the club will lose more per game than with no fans. Pointless.
  10. Redmond is out. Hamstring
  11. I read somewhere that we've never beaten MU at St Mary's. Seems unlikely but probably true?
  12. Saints set to be allowed 4000 spectators under new guidelines, as long as Southampton remains in lowest tier.
  13. Redmond might just get the nod this time depending on whether the international travel has affected Djenepo. Subs: Forster, Stephens, Diallo, Tella, Redmond/Djenepo, N'Lundulu, Long

I think his "tight hamstring" seems to have made a miraculous recovery.
  15. England are truly awful

His hand is broken. Not sure if that will stop him playing.

    Still got 10 days
  18. 2-1 to Saints in added time
  19. Doubt he's worried about England. Won't get much, if any game time as he's a good player from a "little" club rather than a crap one from a "big" club.

I doubt he's that worried. With Southgate's fixed idea of who he wants, Prowsie will only ever be a bit-part player, if at all. I'm sure his first priority is Saints

Perhaps we're getting a bit more savvy over discovering minor injuries rather than letting key players risk injury in pointless matches.

    Hopefully "precautionary"
  23. Superb, as ever. Thanks. I'm really looking forward to your report on Match 38 after we've actually won the league. 🤣🤣
  24. That's not actually correct. And we all know the chances of us still being top after tomorrow's games is negligible, but that's not the point. If only for 48 hours, we got to the top of the table, on merit. True fans will simply enjoy that. And if we keep playing the way we are, it won't be the last time we're top this season.
  25. But these are mainly the same players who were uninspiring and very average a year or so ago. The huge difference is Ralph, who has worked with them (and without the in lockdown) defining complex, intelligent and precise tactics and teamwork. Take, for example, JWP out of this team and put him amongst "star" players who don't think and work as a team and, I would suggest, don't want to put in the effort to get superfit or understand sophisticated tactics, and he'll probably be no more than the player he was two years ago. Hopefully the same applies to Ralph. At Saints he has a group of players willing to better themselves and work as part of a very effective team. How long would it take to get that going somewhere else?
