No he wasn't, that was a claim from someone on here, which I know to be untrue. He would be a big drop from Toby and Lovren.
-
Cue the leeches on here to jump onto that passing comment of 48 hours, and go into meltdown 3042 when we haven't signed someone in that time. Can I just say now that a transfer doesn't happen that quickly, and the comment was referring to getting responses to our bids not actually signing someone.
-
A scenario.....we have been attempting to contact Athletico to get it done, to which they have not responded. We then find out through the media that Spurs have come to an agreement and seem set to sign him. Enough to stir the wasp nest?
-
Despite our apparent position I'm still not confident
-
On the contrary, it shows how much we want to keep him.
-
And a far better suited player to the Premier League than both of them. Fingers crossed!
-
Does anyone know how we got to this point, having been in a position a few weeks ago of him having moved agents and ready to sign a new contract the following week...from the mouth of both Reed and Koeman?!
-
Surely no coincidence it's since he was moved to a more central position
-
Yep def need another top striker, to make Pelle up his game again if nothing else.
-
Did they get this confused with the Pelle/Bridcutt goal?!
-
Def! Cracking player and we seem to be exactly the move he has needed to kick start his career.

Davis crossed for Pelle. Tadic crossed for Cork. -

Wow, that's a game I won't forget for a long time!! An absolute joy to watch. Ten shots on target = 8 goals. I can't ever remember us being so clinical. Tadic is clear man of the match after 6(?!) assists and a goal. I don't think it could have been a more perfect day what with 'the ex' losing 4-1 and Pompey losing. Such credit goes to everyone involved with the club. -
United to sign Matt Radcliffe following Tottenham match

Its a shame given Jayrod hasn't finished his rehab yet as it seems he has been singing his praises to a number of people. Hopefully he builds a quick rapport with the new physio. -
Oh is actually called Zero
-
Lloyd is still injured isnt he?
-
Yep, thats what I'd go with as well.
-
If you say so. I won't bother then.
-
You seem reluctant to participate in a conversation. Why else would you be on a fans forum?

Ok, so what do you suggest Luke was earning here? £25k? That's still doubling his wages whichever way you look at it. There was no need for Man Utd to pay him excessively as he was desperate to move there or Chelsea. As I say the only reason Chelsea didn't happen was due to the fact they wouldn't agree to the terms his agents set out.
-
Yet CB Fry would rather believe this over what I'm stating about Shaw. Yes he went for a big fee but he has one full season of 1st team football. Can people honestly say that is less believable than Shane Long earning £50k pw?!
-
Did I say I know Luke Shaw? I'm in a position to know what the deal is. Take it or leave it.
-
The only reason Chelsea pulled out was due to the demands of his agent. It was nothing to do with the amount Shaw was taking home from the deal.
-
I can assure you he is.
