  1. Perfectly put, Sir! Sad, but true.
  2. Sadly, there's two players on that pitch who are no longer with us. Will always enjoy watching any sort of highlights with a goal or two from our Marian.
  3. Barnard grabs another. Reeves playing for Southend against an Accrington team containing Beatts and Lee Molyneux on the bench.
  4. Bumped into Patrice Tano while in Monte Carlo of all places in 2006. He clocked our Saints shirts so approached us.
  5. Wouldn't be a bad rumour to get snowballed though. With the initial impact the Chaplow rumour had on LUFC fans, this might frighten a few Villa fans once more recognised sources pick it up.
  6. Obviously 4 points out of the next 3 games is a good haul, though I wouldn't say a point at OT was out of reach with the way things have gone of late. Wigan is obviously a very important game we must win. Confident we can do that.
  7. Talking of legends sitting amongst fans, we had Jim Steele sat in front of us in Itchen block 4 for the first half 'til he disappeared down to the concourse around the 40 minute mark. Had a handful of classic stories and great banter.
  8. Last kick of the game, well done boys! Entertaining second half. Boruc didn't have a lot to do but still looks a long way off to me in terms of fitness and being sharp.
  9. Get in there! 3-3
  10. Not completely sure what he's dabbling in at this moment in time but he's a good friend of my boss and has done numerous PA's for our company with a lengthy Q+A (His funniest stories involve Frank Worthington in digs). Pops in occasionally when he's in the area but can't recall seeing him at all this year. We had a company tradeshow last year and Denno ended up watching Champions League with most us blokes and giving his expert analysis.
  11. He made it onto Soccer AM's showboat feature with a move against the Skates in the JPT.
  12. Before this news was common knowledge I was told by someone at work that they had seen Guly out in his Porsche sunday night, he rolled up outside 90 Degrees to pick up Nathaniel Clyne and obviously drove off. Makes me wonder whether Clyne was a passenger at the time of arrest. Taxi for Clyne?
  13. Haha you say Vieira, I was saying Claude Makelele. Very wide of the mark as he was playing for Plymouth and Dag & Redbridge in no time unfortunately. Last I heard he was kicking a ball around in Scotland. I also saw a bright future in Tim Sparv yet he eventually got released with barely a look in for the first team. Still wonder what might have been for him.
  14. Well in Huddersfield! The penalty shootout was better than the game.
  15. Pleased with 149
