Did we get a single shot on target? If so I missed it. Week in week out the most entertaining part of the game is the pre match shooting. Every week there isn't a shot on target and week on week some unfortunate person in the crowd gets clattered. These players do nothing else except play football. Yet they still can't hit the target either before or during the game. What a waste of time and money. I drove a round trip of 250 miles today to watch absolute ****e. Well done Rochdale. Seven years' ago we were in the top four of the Premiership and you were fighting off relegation to the non leagues.

I still get a season ticket for me and my eldest which is good value for money because of his age. Once he turns 16 though it will be a lot more expensive. We normally miss 7 or 8 games a season because of the distance/time for evening games but it still makes it worth it even if the sums may not strictly add up. The problem is without a season ticket we'd probably end up only going to half the games as you have to make the effort of buying. The match day ticket price won't really make a difference to me, but rather the cost of having to pay for 2 adults rather than a father and son pair. Having said that my son would probably kill me if I didn't renew one season so will probably carry on buying regardless. And once he's 17 then he can drive me and I can have a few beers!

Yes I remember him as a great player. I grew up in Wales during the 70s where we rightly thought we were the superior players but he always stood out as a more than worthy opponent. RIP.

Similar to you with not being able to make many mid week matches because of the distance. However, me and the lad have renewed again and I for one can't wait for the season to start.
