  1. Good call about Chaplow. We definitely miss him. When is he due back?
  2. I really want De Ridder to do well but I am yet to be convinced. He's either trying too hard or simply isn't good enough but either way he's disappointing. We should have won the game with that late run of his but his first touch was not good enough. I really want to be proved wrong by Steve so please, please start showing your true potential.
  3. It was fantastic wasn't it? As my lad said on the way out, as we have been so good at home of late we haven't had a great last minute equaliser to celebrate. I am very hoarse and feel like we got a win today especially listening to West Ham get hammered (no pun intended) on the journey home.
  4. Cometh the hour cometh the man. Get him in the team if Davis is unfit. Hopefully he won't have to make a save all match.
  5. I just don't like Harding. Admittedly I only go to the home games but I always groan when he is in the team. To be honest if we had somebody as good as Richardson on the left then I would be more than happy. Unfortunately we don't. Bring back Bridge. Or Bale.
  6. Cheers mate. Makes me feel a little better.
  7. Was their first offside? From where I was sat he was off by a mile.
  8. Brilliant run. Well done lads. Best value season ticket in the world!
  9. Marvellous run which will never be repeated - well that's assuming we spend the rest of time in the Premier!
  10. Still top and about ten places higher than I though we'd be. Until our home form falters we are in an excellent position.
  11. They will lose to Cardiff.
  12. I agree this is the critical statistic. I wanted West Ham to win last night. A great win following Saturday's loss and I was not expecting us to win. It shows great character to react the way they did especially at the start of the second half. As I said to my lad walking back to the car - it's an old cliche that great teams win when not at their best. Saints weren't brilliant last night but still won. Well done lads.
  13. That beggars belief. I feel sorry for her little boy.
  14. Absolutely. I am lucky that I can afford a season ticket for me and my lad and can afford the time to travel to each home game. Many can't. I work with a few Saints fans up in the Midlands. They don't go to many home games but make the effort for the close away games and are in every way as good a fan as me and share the passion. We are all Saints fans regardless of whether we go to all games or none. I much prefer a full stadium and if the person next to me doesn't know half the team well who cares? And I bet the players prefer a full stadium to one with a few thousand empty seats.
  15. Absolutely brilliant. A great day out. Can't wait for Tuesday.
  16. Great player. He will get better as he gets older.
  17. I can't wait. I can remember a couple of significant games against them over the years. The first was about 15 years ago when we had the mighty Gordon Watson and Neil Shipperley up front and Boro turned up with a load of expensive stars including Ravonelli. I think we won 4-0. The other was our last year in the Prem when we were 2 up going into injury time and they scored 2. I knew we were going down after that result. We can win this on Sat. I'm bringing 1 extra to the game to ratch up the noise!
  18. 2-0 against Everton about ten years' ago. Fat boy Kevin Davies scored an absolute cracker.
  19. Thanks for the offer! The problem is I also have a season ticket at Cardiff Blues rugby and so watch over 40 live matches a year. Our lives already revolve around the sporting calendar and an evening birthday missed would be one step too far. Don't worry, I'm getting enough grief off my eldest son because we aren't going!
  20. Ha ha hadn't realised that! I'm actually skiing that week so have an even better excuse to miss that one!
  21. It's my wife's birthday on Tuesday so I won't be going - my ST will be burning a hole in my pocket at a restaurant. We can definitely win this and I think there will be a few goals so I'll go for 3-2 to Saints.
  22. Absolutely gutted. The best team definitely lost this morning. Another top notch performance from a referee but despite that Wales were magnificent.
  23. Good luck tomorrow Wales!
  24. Wow it must be amazing to be able to measure so accurately performance. Wales will beat France next weekend.
