  1. Virgin media.....I have ensured the keys are input correctly, some lowercase, some upper and numbers etc. I have reset the router and tried to input the network security key again but to no avail. As I say, the older laptop is connected fine to the router[hence being able to post this] I just get the message 'Network security key mismatch'
  2. I'm trying to set up the wireless broadband onto my new laptop. I can see the network connection that I want to connect to but it just won't allow me. It asks me for the 'network security key', which I have, but when I input this key, it still won't connect anyway. The security key is correct. The internet/wireless connections are working, as my existing laptop is working fine, I just can't get the new laptop to connect wirelessly. Any suggestions?
  3. This is an internet football forum, nobody can hurt anyone. If someones self-esteem is so low that they can't take a bit of criticism, then they are socially inept. That's not aimed at anyone in particular, but I am still amazed that people are bothered about being called a ****, winker etc from a random nutter on the internet. To paraphrase a very famous politician "Nobody can make you feel inferior without your consent".
  4. Thanks Al, all sorted now. Also, I have a laptop for spares or repairs, it's a Toshiba Satellite S2410 for sale, it comes with: Windows XP, Pentium 4, nvidia graphics card, DVD player, it's a bit battered to be honest, the screen is lose and won't stay fixed without support, it has 5 letters missing off the keypad and is in generally poor condition. Is it worth sticking on ebay and for how much?
  5. I have taken pics of all the shirts now, if anyone is interested, please leave your email address and I will send you some pictures. In total there are about fifteen shirts and other items of clothing. I was hoping to list them on ebay but I just don't have the time at the moment.
  6. My purple Chopper* *Nothing rude, for those who weren't one of Thatchers children.
  7. It's a good job that Dune has a thick skin and doesn't have low self-esteem, a lesser man could have attempted suicide at the levels of abuse aimed at them, at times it's from the admin/management team too. If this was real life, then Dune would be taking da management to an industrial tribunal by now, of which the Saintweb lawyers would be looking to settle out of court. I might not agree with all his views but I think he'd make a better ally than some of the abusive 'holier than thou' lefties on here, some of the abuse dished out by the self-righteous lefties is quite laughable. I suppose these are the ones hiding behind the forum rulebook when it comes to reporting Dune, or others who offer a different point of view. It reminds me of when the school bully used to kick my backside in the dinner queue at school, until one day I snapped, grabbed his hair with my left hand and introduced my right fist to his jaw. Of course, he then cried off to the teachers and I got suspended. If you can't take it, don't dish it out. Dune can take it, others though can't step up to the plate when the push comes to the shove. The world has gone mad, sanity is not the norm.
  8. If they have expired in the eyes of the law then you will be fine. Avis can't force you to get a new licence so that it comes back without the expired points showing, [even though they aren't active now], that would be nonsense.
  9. David Platt v Begium - Italia 90 What a moment!
  10. Thanks Al. I will give that a go during the weekend. So, if I install a new DVD player, it's as simple as the steps above? No device drivers or anything needed?
  11. Hi Al, It's an 'iQon - M66SE' I think they were an Irish company that went bust.
  12. It would appear so Al. No yellow exclamation marks or similar and it's listed there too.
  13. The above has packed up on my laptop, it's done well as it's about five years old. I was just wondering: A) How much does it generally cost to replace with a new DVDRW? B) Can they be repaired, if so, would this be the better option than replacing? At the moment, when a CD/DVD is placed into the D: drive, it makes a lot of noise as it attempts to read the disc. However, it gives up after a few minutes. In 'My Computer' it states that a disc in in the drive, it just can't seem to read it. c) Considering the age of the laptop, would I be just as well to buy a totally new laptop, @£250 mark on ebay, deal of the day type of offer

  15. As I was once asked: "If you were brainwashed, would you have any idea?"
  16. This is another example of Health and Safety madness.
  17. I have decided to move into the modern world and start updating my music collection. I have managed to find about 100 old cassettes and literally hundreds of vinyl albums that I want to update. I don't really want to buy more CD's as they take up a lot of space, I plan to download and place onto a large MP3/MP4 player, at least I have a back up then on my hard drive, if I later want to burn onto a CD too. I need to find out a good, cheap site, with a good catalogue of musical artists, both new and from the days of yore. I was told itunes is the best but thought i'd chance my luck with this question on here. Could I have some suggestions please?

  19. Hua Hin has some wonderful golf courses, I quite agree with the authorities there. Maybe more women should take up Golf to balance it all out. The crux of it for me is that every country has a vice problem, in the UK, it tends to be underground as that way we can pretend it isn't there, in Thailand it's more transparent. Also, for some ladies, it's not a lifestyle choice to work in bars, it's hardly high-class, quite the opposite and for some girls. For a poorly educated village girl, it's often the only doorway of opportunity that opens for them to escape to a better life. It might be gross, disgusting, seedy but in some countries, such as Thailand, it's that or go hungry.
  20. Thanks Hamster, I just want to get rid of a lot of clutter at the moment, then i'll look at listing individually, it's very time consuming though I wouldn't have a clue if anything that I have is rare, is there a website for Saints collectables to cross-check?
  21. I have seen some of those in a cup somewhere, I used to have quite a few, when/if I find them, i'll update.
  22. I have to agree. There is absolutely no evidence to support my suspicions, despite Police from many countries actively searching for evidence, over many years, to prove it. However, there is just something not right about SOG, I have absolutely no idea what it is that isn't right about SOG, but I will happily gossip and tell as many people that I can that he is a child killer and hope he rots in hell the murdering barstud! In all seriousness, why do we assume there must be an explanation to everything in life? A lot of people/kids go missing all over the world, every day of the year, some are never found, despite huge amounts of resources being allocated to the Police....in the case of Maddie, it now seems a case of 'nobody has been caught, there is no evidence to charge anyone, including the parents, therefore, it must mean that the parents did it' - FACT!!!!!! That makes perfect sense to me....that is sound logic isn't it?
  23. I have just found a bin bag with about fifteen assorted Saints shirts, t-shirts and sweaters. Most seem to be from the 90's onwards, some in good condition, some reasonable. I'll try and get some photos up in the not too distant future. I have all sorts, magazines, programmes, special edition copies of the echo [lol], mugs, fanzines from bygone days[redstripe, ugly, BS etc].
  24. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250816774935#ht_500wt_949 I have finally managed to make a start, the VHS videos are going first. I have no idea really about pricing but it seems reasonable to me to get a tenner or so for them? Thoughts? Collection can be arranged, if you want to avoid postage. I live in the Black Country.
