Must agree it is a weird feeling tonight, one I've never experienced before. I am usually exstatic. So what did everyone do when there werent any seats at football games? When I was younger and went to games at the Dell with my Dad he either stood me on a seat or lifted me up. Im pretty sure the whole ground was stood up for the penalty, I was on the half way line and everyone was stood up, in fact I dont think I've ever been sat down for a penalty and I have a season ticket in the Chapel for many years. Unfortunatly its part of the game. Possibly ask for front row next time?

Dont understand why so many are going on about it causing trouble with the Carlise fans or getting a broken nose. Nothing like that will happen unless you look for trouble, however if you wear saints colours in the Southampton end you will be kicked out the ground!

i hope it is a red and white version of the england kit. That way it would look like one of the classic tops that simply had red and white strips and no advertising. In fact I second the Ron Davies shirt, pretty much want something like that

Frustrated. With the money that has been spent we should be higher in the League. I dont understand the logic behind people saying we will win the league next year when we are so inconsistent, cant win the games that actually matter and cant play on dodgy pitches. Having just seen the highlights on iplayer, I am still of the opinion that was never a penalty. The player has kicked the ball backwards, is off balance, backing into seaborne and just falls over! I mean am I being biast here? Does anyone actually think that could be a pen?
