Ridiculous post. The price of a player in the transfer market is relevant to their ability. Lambert was a gem that we found, Lallana came through the academy, completely different scenarios. I think people are well within their right to expect a hell of a lot more from a player who is the 3rd most expensive player in our clubs entire history.

Sorry but price does matter... If you pay a club record fee for a player, you expect him to be one of the best and go straight into the first team, especially for a club of our stature!! FACT, he has not lived up to his potential and class which is the reason we paid a record fee in the first place!!

Nobody has a clue what the charges etc are about. Nobody has a clue whether we are self financed, financed by the liebherrs or whatever.

Thoughts? It only seems to be a problem now tickets have sold out and people have 'missed out'. If people got tickets earlier then they wouldnt have a problem. This game should have sold out weeks ago but I still managed to get some last week. England fans don't tend to sell out Wembley so why not guarantee more ticket sales/money/atmosphere. Also don't agree with the whole, they might regret doing this if we fail to win. Only the players are at fault if we don't qualify due to previous below par performances in my opinion.

It was actually a 3 year plan... 1 year in league one and two in the championship but in the end we did it the other way round. (Is what he said!)

To be honest, unless you come to go shopping or watch football, there is nothing to attract 'outsiders' to the city... However, that 'survey/report' is a farce... York is one of the nicest looking cities in the country. Anyone know what the criteria of 'crappiest' actually was?

We'd have stayed up without Gaston. A £12m player for a club like us should be invaluable... but he isnt. The type of player he is and the type of talent he supposedly has, we should be thinking, he can really change a game if he comes on... but he doesn't.

Agree with Alpine on this one... For £12m, he has done absolutely nothing. He looks disinterested in games, walks around and has no fight. He seems to only be putting in a half hearted effort. Against Bristol City (A **** poor League One side), yes he scored, but the rest of the game he spent losing the ball.

He stalled his career by moving to a mediocre premier league club to be number 2

Lyon have a very good transfer policy, might have something to do with it. People should read Soccernomics, it explains what Lyon do.

They told me that its to do with this new points system which means they cant allow it.

They offered an upgrade or a refund... I got the refund. It's gone massively done hill. The women on the phone said 'You have an adult season ticket and purchased an under 17's ticket', then didnt say anything else. Really got my back up that!

I have an adult season ticket with Saints and go to quite a few away games. I'm not able to make the Liverpool away game but a family friend wanted to go so I got him an under 17 ticket (yes, he is under 17!). Purchased it online, no problem. Get a phonecall today saying 'You have an adult season ticket, and you've purchased under 17 for Liverpool...' Apparently you arent allowed to do this and the only option is to upgrade to a £40 adult ticket. Thats all fair enough but how ineffecient is our ticket office. I wasnt sure if it would be possible but it worked online. If they dont want this to be the case then put restrictions online. The customer service from them is awful. The police account dedicated to Saints admited a couple of weeks ago that the club has asked the police NOT to reveal the amount of tickets sold in the away end, clearly to cover up when they mess up and take small allocations. On top of this, we have sold out for Liverpool pretty much yet the Liverpool websites says we have returned tickets.

All that was said was 'expecting one more in to complete the trio already signed. A few players out also. No mention of names or positions.
