Wooohooo!
-
yesss come on! a few minutes left!
-
They wont. Huddersfield will capitalise if Brighton play like this. We gifted Brighton a goal, if that didnt happen, this could have been very very different.
-
I hate the commentator, he gets way too excited.
-
It feels like one of those games where we just run out of time.
-
It does my head in the amount of airtime they give to teams like Totton. I dont care!
-
Wait for the Brighton fans to say we injured Murray deliberately
-
Lets hope this isnt too much of a risk
-
shut up

No its not!

Sibley says 4-3-3. Not keen on Gobern starting, hope he proves me wrong.

They really are pathetic. They spend more time trying to better us than supporting their own team. Adkins has congratulated them and the majority on here congratulated them yet their still not happy and still say we cant accept they are champions. This guard of honour business, seriously who cares about a guard of honour. I think its more they want to gloat and are annoyed we wont give them the chance to do it this way. As for the 'Amex', do they realise the stadium is nothing special? low capacity and a design that has been around for about 10 years now, yet they call it 'breathtaking', oh dear.
-
I bet after all these designs that everyone likes we will hate the official kit!

From my seat on Saturday he was in extreme pain and obviously couldn't walk. According to the brighton preview he has been resting at home all week. I very much doubt he will recover in enough time to train again and play before the end of the season which is only 16 days away.
-
Whats the point in taking them if they don't have any interest in the game what so ever. There were a couple of kids near me on Saturday and all they did was play on their DS... whats the point in spending money and taking them if their not interested or watching.
-
He has had an X-ray already so they will have an idea what it is without the swelling going down.
-
Dont fall for it. They know exactly what injury he has and how long he will be out for. They use this whole 'they will be assessed' to keep other teams guessing.
-
That's a laughable statement, considering you don't even know me. Neither of you had rivals before that game. I've actually read up the reason why and its quite sad really. Crystal Palace are in London so would love to know how its a South Coast derby.
-
Its not a derby. We are closer to Reading and that is not a derby. About the same distance to Yeovil and thats not a derby. Bristol are a little further away than you and thats not a derby. It is just a game between two clubs who dont have a long journey time between them. Brighton dont have rivals. Crystal Palace, that rivalry was started from one game where the Brighton managed offended Palace fans. Hardly enough to warrant a rival.

Rochdale 2 - 0 Southampton - Post Match Reaction
SaintNeil90 replied to Saint_clark's topic in The Saints
He wont be fully fit. He was completely pulling out of tackles. -
Well Done... the whole season I expect you lot to faultier but you didn't. By the way... its not a derby.

Definitely not as bad as the score suggests. In the build up to the first goal, we should have had two free kicks, one for Barnard being rugby tackled to the floor and another for the scorer pushing Harding in the back to get the header. Then Davis just watched it go over his head and made no attempt to move for it. The second goal was a counter attack and killed us off. We were poor first half. Only really had two shots that tested the keeper from long range. Lambert and Barnard never really got any service. Second half was better but by then Rochdale had every man behind the ball and we were never going to break them down. Lallana hit the post, we had a few headers saved or just over the bar. Speaking of Lallana, best player on the pitch despite being injured (you could tell as he was pulling out of tackles) but his footwork, turning, shots, crosses were different class to the rest. Forte was brilliant. He may have lacked the final pass or cross today but he was getting stuck in, winning the ball and running with it. The first time I've actually seen him play and Adkins wasn't lying about the pace! Diamond - didnt work today, we needed width. Guly is crap. did not do one good thing today and every corner went across the ground to the first man. Nothing to much to worry about and I still think we will finish 2nd

Richard Wright was injured for part of the season but when he was fit, Steve Simonsen was still getting the No.1 shirt ahead of him. Simonsen is a shocking keeper so based on that fact I dont think we need Wright. He was good three years ago but has dipped since then.

Have to say... I love this club. Im so proud to say I support Southampton. We have: * An exciting set of players (Professional Football Players) * A manager who knows how to motivate them * A chairmen who really cares * A fantastic set of fans who make games so much more enjoyable * A fantastic stadium (the building) * New training ground * Academy that attracts real talent We really do have a bright future ahead of us!
