  1. ...as a great communicator, positive thinker and a motivator. Yet, Simon Peach & others in the media, says that there is a lack of communications between the board and players. Strange.
  2. Marcelo Bielsa... if we could attract him.
  3. Sorry when did he become ITK. He is just another fan on twitter.
  4. I know for a fact that he has moved out (for good) from the digs he was staying in (a family in Dibden Purlieu). The family were very upset to see him go. That could be because he is now 18 and will move into his own flat OR he is moving away all together.
  5. The more you keep the ball, the less likely the opposition are to score. This obviously doesnt work in every game. What would you rather we do, let teams come at us and then try and take half chances or counter attacks to win? I'd rather play entertaining football and lose, than play on the back foot, hoof it upfield and win 1-0. Football is an entertainment that I want to enjoy watching. It really isnt ALL about winning.
  6. The only link is the fact he is scoring goals and is from Southampton. I'm suprised fans still suggest him to be honest. He hasnt completed a full season without getting injured.
  7. 27 players there... WC squad is 23 players... quite easy to work it out really.
  8. Mine... I would like to complain about the comments made by Peter Schmeichel on Match of the Day 2 last night. He made comments about Adam Lallana, saying the best players should be at the best clubs and then said his old club Manchester United United should sign him. I am lead to believe that the BBC and its sports pundits should act in a neutral manner without bias to one team. I see these comments as an insult to Southampton and feel that with Schemeichel being a former Manchester United player, that these comments are biast and represent a complete disrespect for Lallana & his club, Southampton.
  9. At £42 a ticket I'm not suprised it hasnt sold out at all. £42 for a mediocre West Ham!!! I'd rather stream it thanks.
  10. Stop using a stutter gif to clutch at straws. BT replays at the time show that Brown gets the ball, playing it off Ramirez... Hence no direction change. I can even see it in the gif but that's probably as I've seen other angles. However, I'm not sure the ref would have seen that so probably still bottled it.

    Danny Ings

But he has spent more of his professional career out injured than playing and has had at least 2 years cut off his career due to knee injuries already. I'd rather have Rodriguez.

    Danny Ings

    No! Injury prone.
  13. I hate being told by the club that we are talking this competition seriously, only for this to be published on the OS... Team news Saints are assessing James Ward-Prowse and Nathaniel Clyne after both suffered knocks during the second half of Wednesday’s league defeat by Chelsea. Dani Osvaldo is back in training after recuperating from a recent illness suffered while coming back from a leg injury sustained against Newcastle three weeks ago. Guly do Prado and Lloyd Isgrove are also nearing fitness having trained yesterday after both undergoing knee operations at the end of last year. Tomorrow’s game will be Southampton’s ninth since the start of December, so Pochettino may look to shuffle his squad somewhat to give players a deserved rest. The likes of Danny Fox, Maya Yoshida and Jos Hooiveld will be pushing for starts after missing out in recent matches, as will Rickie Lambert, who was benched against Chelsea on New Year’s Day. Young striker Sam Gallagher could be in contention for his first Southampton start after a number of substitute appearances of late, while Harrison Reed will be aiming for his first inclusion in starting XI at St Mary’s.
  14. No actually, I'd be annoyed if we got them away as it would probably mean getting knocked out. I'd be happier with someone like Bournemouth, Reading or Brighton away. The FA Cup also gives us the chance to play portsmouth, although not this season. If we're going to end up in the Europa League, I'd rather win the FA Cup to get there.
  15. Well said. I love the FA Cup. There is nothing better than being in the draw with discussion about who we want to play and seeing big fixtures pulled out the hat.
  16. It is very unlikely. The only reason our prem games are streamed is because all prem games are live in the USA and UAE, meaning they can be streamed back to the UK pretty easily. This is not the case for the FA cup.
  17. Lock this thread... It is not due to be flooded at all.
  18. Journalists are unable to release the written press articles until 12:00... its just a joke. Chill
  19. Not a chance! Injury-prone and Burnley would want more than he is worth! You'd be talking Jay Rod money or more and he isnt worth that. A friend of mine lived with the Bournemouth physio for a while, who told him that Ings previous injuries had already cut short his career and that he WILL get recurrences.
  20. What absolute joke some of our 'fans' were today... Getting on the players backs when they needed our support Sarcastically cheering Gazza because he caught the ball Speeding up songs (when they finally did bother) so that they died out in seconds When will fans learn that getting on players backs actually makes them more nervous and causes more mistakes. This kind of 'support' never happened in the football league.
  21. However bad his performance is, do any of you so called 'fans' really think sarcastically jeering your own player is acceptable? Some of our 'fans' are pathetic.
  22. What has he said you don't agree with Soton East Side?
  23. add Hooiveld and Gazzaniga to that list.
