Thought we were pretty unconvincing today. If Millwall could finish we would have looked awful. We didnt look like we wanted to win today, there was no enthusiasm or energy. It was a very lethargic performance. At one stage, Bart had picked up the ball from a cross and instead of people facing him and asking for the ball they all turned their backs and started walking up the pitch, there was no urgency. Ben Reeves impressed me alot, very good touch and control of the ball and a great pass to Harding for our goal. As others have said, Martin was fantastic and easily our man of the match. Bart was good, didn't look nervous but I felt Hendersons shot for their goal was weak and he didn't even attempt to save it, he just watched it go past him. I think Davis would have saved it. Tadanari is great at making space for himself and very quick but never really got hold of the ball today. The fancy flick he did when we needed to keep possession and try to get a winner was a bit annoying though... great when we are playing well but not it that situation. Think Puncheon will be good when he regains his match fitness... he was getting stuck in and was best player for us after Martin.

Whats happened lately... We were silent today. Its been like this for a few games now, even at home.

Why does 'watch this space' mean we are going to sign someone. It is just a standard 'wait and see' comment from Adkins. As far as I am concerned that means we may or may not sign anyone else.

If we want a RB then Matt Lowton at Sheffield United would be a good addition. Young (22), loves to bomb forward, great cross but also good at defending. The ball seems to stick to his feet too, good close control. I think Fulham have been sniffing around but no bids yet. Sheffield's finances aren't great so a decent offer would not be turned down.

With all these injuries its going to be more than just this game.

Overated... Watch him a few times now and don't rate him that highly. A star?! I doubt it. He has one good trait. Cutting in onto his left foot. Other than that he is just a slow lump who throws his weight around and gives away free kicks when he get annoyed.

Im not defending what he did but the picture makes it look a lot worse. There was a lot of other incidents just as bad as his during that brawl hence why I say a lot more people could have been sent off.

I'm going to comment on this because I was actually there. My family support Sheffield United and as we aren't playing until Monday, I decided to go.... The incident started from an awful tackle by Russell the Charlton player. He was sent off straight away. The tackle caused a mass brawl with players pushing, shoving and throwing punches. In that image it looks like Beattie is strangling the player. In fact it was not that bad. One of the Charlton players was literally trying to rip Matt Lowtons shirt off him. Lowton is one of the young lads at United and Beattie was actually protecting the young lad by pulling the player away. A lot more players could have been sent off but the officials obviously didn't see everything. For those saying Beattie has done nothing at United. He has just come back from injury and due to Cresswell and Evans being in such good form, Beattie has had to settle for a place on the bench and cameo appearances to get him up to match fitness. Today he still looked sharp and agile. He caused the Charlton defenders trouble for the short time he was on due to his strength and the fact he was winning the headers.

We wont buy players for the sake of it. They have to be the right players and the right quality. Its not the clubs fault if clubs wont sell

Why are we even talking about this? Of course we wont pay this amount of money on someone just to get promoted. Firstly, it doesnt gurantee promotion, secondly we are looking for players that can do well for us now and in the premiership and three our manager and chairmen and not that stupid and to suggest they are is insulting!
