It was there earlier, but went to show my son and it's gone on my computer!!!!
-
It's not on the official site or sky sports anymore, hope there is not a problem

Branfoot was a man i really hated, several years later i was at Jason Dodds testimonial as a guest, found myself sat next to branfoot, it was so odd, he was actually a really decent friendly bloke. he chatted all the way through the game, i even shared a drink with him after the game, he had some interesting stories and a genuinely funny bloke, still saints worst manager ever though!

Opinion Poll: The song that Saints currently come in to?

that's genuinely the same reason as me !!!!

the cost of stadium expansion rules this out as a non starter, if we added 15,000 to the average gate (which i don't believe we would) it would take years before the club had a financial advantage of the extra capacity

Your all-time favourite starting XI and Manager.

i admire the sentiment, but how can you pick le tiss in an all time saints best 11, i would not put him above- Paine, ball, case, armstrong, keegan, steve williams, Channon, ron Davies and thats without thinking about it too much -
Any Huddersfield players we should bid for?
sotonian replied to ExSt Peter Saint's topic in The Saints
Pilkington was by far the best league one away player at st marys this season -
with a few mates, doing a sweepstake type of thing for next season who ever gets most top six teams wins/shares the kitty i'm going with west ham forest saints leeds leicester birmingham unless you wise folk can advise differently
-
so true, with an instalment plan we will have over 20,000 season ticket holders, with an average gate of 28,000 + without an instalment plan the average gate will be under 25,000
-
only very slightly, we will finish above them next season
-
yes and it will happen, but possibly not for next season

for some reason most songs originate from man u, what songs are saints originals? i understand oh when the saints/spurs/reds etc was first sung by spurs
-
i think what many on here don't grasp is that although our league one crowds were good, there was still room for 10,000 more at virtually every game, yes i am fortunate to be able to buy my season tickets as soon as they are on sale, but i know of many people who did not have a season ticket purely down to the stopping of the instalment plan, they then pick and choose games, end up going to say 10 games at full price rather than all the games at a lower price, so in theory these people actually gave Southampton football club far less money over the last year
-
something has to be done, its nearly impossible to get a pint without missing some of the game, its been bad all season, but with the extra jcls last Saturday it got stupid, the concourse areas need extending with more outlets, they could put up the mesh type barriers (that are used on building sites) outside home areas at half time with mobile catering units within them, the club would make more money, smokers could smoke, everyone could get food and drink, everyone's happy
-
your reason for buying them is probably what most of us season ticket holders think, its just a pain getting tickets individually, plus the fact you get to know the people around you, i really don't think people buy st's to feel superior, but i guess it is nice to think we don't have to mix with the buy on the day peasants lol

Saints need to capture the moment and act soon, with sensible pricing & instalment plan, could see us getting an all time record ST take up for saints
-
Pilkington of Huddersfield, was for me the best opposition player at St Marys this season, injured at the moment, but would be a great signing
-
thanks
-
i have been offered a ticket, from someone who cant now go, but its for an over 65, anyone know if its possible to change this for a normal ticket
-
harding has definitely improved this season, prob due to the signing of dixon giving him pressure for his place
-
nah i think we'll need at least 87
-
saints 3 man u 2 early 80's Keegans incredible overhead goal disallowed, that game had everything,
-
i had us on 84, P'boro on 85, so not that conclusive
-
same as my forecast, but no problem i reckon Bournemouth in the play off final, exciting weekend in Manchester ending with promotion
