Loved the fact that Bart was celebrating as much - if not more than anyone else at the end! What a great bloke ( & top keeper!).

I'll be sat in the South stand as well - never sat in the home end for an away match. Any advice how to show no emotion when we score?

Saints 3 Notts County 1 - Post Match Reaction
the boy from saints replied to St Chalet's topic in The Saints
I suppose Brighton have benefitted with having a good manager and a proper pre-season without having to deal with sackings, deaths and caretakers. God knows what happened with Saints pre-season, but things were obviously not right. At least we seem to have a chairman that has made two good managerial decisions in a row! Great tp be so close to auto promotion! -
Their hopes dashed by a missed penalty was the icing on the cake!

Cheers! I might check that one out. Perhaps the bears are in cages and fight for the kids entertainment?! -

I just wanted to bump this thread back up but add a beer garden to the list of requirements as it's supposed to be nice today and I fancy a sun drenched pre-match pint while my son plays on the DS! The Alfred's beer garden is a bit erm...concretey! -
"I don’t think it will buy me some time,” said Pardew. “His [Cortese’s] driving at me can sometimes, you could argue, put too much pressure on. Sometimes it’s just about right. It was important we won because I can look him in the eye and say, ’look, we’ve done a lot of good things’. It may be this sentence that explains some of the crowd 'Boo-ing' this afternoon - wrong as it may be!
-
Yeah. Definately 'Boos' for Cortese in block 524. Bit shocked really - only down point on a brilliant day.

Saints 4-1 Carlisle - 2010 JPT Champions - Reaction

Do you have Virgin Plus? Same thing happened to me! At least highlights are on BBC tonight (i think?). Magic day! Harding MOTM for me. I love the way he always plays the ball, turning players rather than just hoofing it. Felt like we missed Morgan. Said to my son that not many of his schoolmates would ever see their team lift a trophy at Wembley! Love the Saints! Mexican wave was funny as well. Can only talk in soundbites! -

I'm sure it's fine taking a camera/camcorder in. I took photos on my digital camera when we saw England play a year or so ago. -
[To the tune of 'Don't You Want Me' by The Human League] Jose Fonte baby Jose Fonte woahhhhh *Something else* Keep it going... Just about caught that chant at the Hartlepool game. Really made me laugh!

Love the description 'twerp' for Gleeson! - almost too nice a term to portray the total embodiment of a team that portrays such a c*ntastically anti football ethos! But I agree with the sentiment!

Saints V Walsall - Post Match Reaction
the boy from saints replied to St Landrew's topic in The Saints
Seemed like midway through the interview there was some body language/facial gesture type scenario that hacked Pardew off. It was like two separate interviews - he was fine for the first minute and seemed really hacked off in the second half? -

Ha ha...my 4 yr old cried every time we scored in the first half - because of the noise! He got into it the second half and was singing the Ricky Lambert song all the way home. Magic! -
Matchday Programmes - a discussion
the boy from saints replied to Saint Fan CaM's topic in The Saints
I always buy a programme and really enjoy reading it with a beer on the train home to Salisbury. The articles are quite well written, and I always find Kelvin/Pardew's views on the current situation really interesting! Probably makes me sound a bit sad, but for me it's all part of the matchday exp. -

Quick Season Ticket Question!
the boy from saints replied to the boy from saints's topic in The Saints
I haven't seen my mate for a couple of years and I'm taking my son to Wembley...it IS harsh I suppose, but I'm looking forward to a good pre/post-match p?ss up! -
Quick Season Ticket Question!
the boy from saints replied to the boy from saints's topic in The Saints
Ha ha! Of course I'd never consider that option - thanks for a response...spent 20 minutes on the Ticket Hotline this evening with no response! -
Myself and my son have got half season tickets. My son has an under 12 ticket but I want to go to the Leeds game with my mate but not my son. Can I get a discounted adult ticket price for my son's seat? Cheers!

Plus James GETS the derby more than most - which also is a worry as in recent games he's shown a tendency to get wound up. So good for passion but also bad! I'm ****ed so this probably means bugger all anyway, but can see James getting a red.
