Good performance from City. Gave us no time or space and their pace troubled us. Annoyingly a very good save from James was all he had to do. Good noise from the saints fans, very little from City till the last 10 minutes. A good **** up but a match to forget. 1 point from the 3 away games I've managed to get to this season. So you'll never see your team do a job on their most hated rivals, just because you were too stubborn to put a bit of extra effort in. Sad really. I'm just glad I'll be saying I was there when we did a job on them, and loved it despite the old bill doing their best to ruin our day.

Don't think we've scored more than a couple, but it's not like we don't try. Frazer, chappers, cork and Morgan have all been having a go now and again. Lambert really hasn't been getting into positions to shoot from range all that often, but then again does he really need to? Maybe away from home where we don't look like scoring with every attack. 40 league goals already and 12 from Lambert will suggest we don't really need to try from range.

I think a lot of STHs wouldn't have bothered applying if they had zero or 1 away games on their customer number. Not surprised it didn't sell out. I'm hoping there are not too many left and they'll get enough ballot applications to cover the remaining tickets. Wasn't at Ipswich but the 2nd half at Leicester was unbelievable. Sustained pressure and chance after chance. Schmeichel was top class to keep us out that many times. At home for me it was either Birmingham or Middlesbrough. We controlled both games, and the Birmingham game was won by HT. Would have loved to have seen us go for the throat but it doesn't seem to be NA's style. Get 3-0 up then keep the ball, see the game out and keep everyone fit seems to be his plan A in most games. Not such a bad thing

City fans on their forum are saying their tickets are selling well, already a biggest attendance of the season. Also a fair few of them saying they're lumping money on them to be promoted. They've had some good results, but they've come against questionable opposition (barring WHU). I'm going to put my ballot in, but still undecided whether to go or not. The alternative is a day in the pub, £42 richer, with no OB, coaches, or skates in sight, the freedom to move, and plenty of beer at hand. Unfortunately, the more I think about it, the more it makes sense to not go.
