Think I'd rather have a proper club like WHU up there than the plastic happy clappers at Reading.

Strange, my experience of Serbia was the opposite. Flew into Belgrade, just spent a day there but enjoyed it. We then went north to Novi Sad which was an amazing place. Friendly people, beautiful city, everything cheap, and a good festival.

Derby. Fact.

Just to confirm, is the Reading derby/non-derby/donkey-derby sold out? Would be embarrassing if it wasn't IMO.

Are Marseille fans DFCSBs though? Are they shamelessly uneducated, unloyal, unhygienic, benefit scroungers who rip off local charities? Fans of every team on earth should hate Portsmouth.

It's the only legal way for them to say you can pick off your neighbour's pets, passing wildlife, or screaming local kid's footballs, at a distance of 200 yards. Anyone that says they would buy one of those purely for DIY, is a liar.

Head Southest from the Alps. Last year we drove from Venice, round the coast through Slovenia and into Croatia. Beautiful countries, nice coastal roads, everything is cheap, nice people. I'll definitely get back to Eastern Europe to travel, probably backpack it though as trains are so cheap. By June in 2008, myself and a mate had saved around £4000 and were going to drive down to Austria and Switzerland to follow England around in the Euros. Obviously England didn't qualify, so being 21 years old, we thought we'd drive to Ibiza instead as we'd already booked the Eurotunnel and didn't want to lose that money. Endless, boring motorways and too many tolls. We should have flown and stayed there longer for the money we spent, about £600-700 on fuel and tolls as fuel was already €1.60 in France at the time. Was a good experience but if I was to drive into Europe again I'd be getting out of the Eurozone ASAP.

If we're already up, we'll be on a massive northern p*ss up to celebrate that fact. Man the f*ck up and get a ticket, IMO. Plus the title won't be won by then. It's almost a certainty we'll be playing for something.
-
Finally all booked. 4 of us driving up straight after work Friday. I booked a hotel in Newcastle City Centre so we'll be out for a few jars on Friday night before getting a 9am train down to Middlesbrough, then back to Newcastle after the football for a big night out. It's going to be off the chain if we secure promotion or the title up there.

So if we win the League at Boro, you'd not be out till 5am? I'd be lucky to make it home on the Sunday I think.

We can have them. They're a bit depleted and had a tough game tonight. If Brighton weren't so useless at finishing, it would've been a different story tonight. Saints 3-1. Cork and Fonte to get their first goals of the season. And a goal for SRL.

If I was Gus I'd be telling everyone to get at Harte at every opportunity. He's got a cracking delivery but he kept getting done by pace first half and committing fouls. Get him sent off! And Kebe, he got a yellow for kicking the ball away. T0sser -

Listening to this with Sky on mute as it's going to be ****. Decent start for Brighton, Reading are playing 1 up top and haven't got on the ball yet -
I drive an Audi and consider myself to be a very good driver. HTH.

Cracking day again. I thought Palace started brighter than us but we settled into the game. Fox MOTM, was absolutely immense today and kept their 'best' player in his pocket, who was obviously really p*ssed off about it. I thought Corky and Deano bossed the midfield and were top notch, and Lambo is a class above in this league. Great turnout in terms of numbers. We were loud but not as loud as we could/should have been. No denying we were right behind them all day. Got into a 'closed' pub after the game to watch Fat Sam pull his hair out, had a load more beers and a curry on the way home and went to bed feeling we're not too far away. Hoping for a Brighton win today.

1984 was just before my time too. It's just hit me again how disappointed I am that we didn't win there in December. We may not have another chance. Just imagine if Rickie's volley in injury time had flown in. I've been quite calm about Saturday until watching all these videos, I'm not now. I hope we f*cking humiliate the DFCSBs.

Just a cool £111 spent on Boro tickets today. Just need to book hotels now. All this a few days before 3 games in 7 days, a week off work, 2 weddings, and plenty of p*ss ups. Saints are going to bankrupt me.
-
Because you need a few fit strikers for a promotion run-in? Yep, that makes sense. Next...

You don't need TV to know that we're unbeaten in 12, and out of the last 8 we've won 7, drawn 1, scored 18 and conceded 3. And kept 6 clean sheets. No, we will not get battered up there, and there is more than a bit of cause for optimism, FFS.

We're going to walk this league.
