  1. Shooting practice. C'mon Arsenal, I want double figures. Cazorla to score 9.
  2. Get in Cazorla. Top work for the dream team cause.
  3. Cazorla in my dream team. Lovely. I reckon 5-0, Arsenal just to ping it about and take it easy second half.
  4. Deserves punishment for 3 counts of violent conduct IMO. 9+ games. Fair play to Shawcross for just getting on with it. *remembers to take Fellaini out of dream team*
  5. Strange year for me, lots of highs and lows and a year I really decided to change some things I wasn't happy with. Some amazing away days. Saints promotion. New job with big pay rise. Got fit and lost a sh*tload of weight. Ended a 9 year relationship and moved out of the house we shared - whilst in the middle of a massive project at work which meant working 70 hour weeks through the whole thing. Easily the most stressful few months of my life. Made myself ill due to the above. Ibiza 2012 - by far my best trip there to date. Last few weeks - living it up like a newly single mid 20's lad should, and loving it. Confirmed job security going into the new year. 2013 is going to be a massive year, I can't wait.
  6. We can pick and chose the seasons we're best equipped to challenge for one, surely? We already made sure that we got knocked out of the League Cup before it started to affect our league fixtures. I wouldn't be at all surprised if we did the same in the FA cup.
  7. If we survive this season, we'll give ourselves plenty of opportunities to win trophies. In a season like this, where we've been almost nailed on certainties to get relegated, with a shaky defence and a thin squad, it's not really priority IMO. Especially now we were unlucky enough to draw Chelsea at home. Stay up, consolidate, then start thinking about pushing on and challenging for silverware. IMO.
  8. Why? Surely we've got more important issues this season. Would you rather we went on a run, got a pileup of fixtures and a tired squad, which would more than likely cost us points in the league?
  9. It's probably only one game anyway, and can anyone really say they're bothered by the cup this season? I hope we play the kids and get it over and done with.
  10. David, press the 'reply with quote' button, enter what you've got to say below the [/ QUOTE], and then press 'post quick reply'. Simples.
  11. We've got a much better transfer policy than just about all of our relegation rivals, in that we'd actually be able to sell our big players if it came to it, and recoup most of the money spent on them. Try selling Cisse, Pogrebnyak, Bent, Fletcher, Zamora etc for anything like what was paid for them, and even then there's the eye-watering wages they're on. Not saying it wouldn't hurt if we were relegated, but it wouldn't ruin us like it could do to some of the other sides.
  12. Newcastle.
  13. What a ridiculous comment.
  14. He still deserves to be here. We had a tough start, and even though he made mistakes, he's learning and improving. Pleased for him, he's crackers but I love it.
  15. Sunderland 2-0 Fulham 1-2 Stoke 2-1 Arsenal 1-3 Aston Villa 1-1 7 points, showing plenty enough to believe we'll stay up.
  16. Voted for Shaw, close between him and Fonte.
  17. Against Reading, if we play anything like we did in the QPR and Newcastle games, and the first half against Norwich, we'll be fine. Gazza's mistake against Norwich really knocked us back and we don't seem to have got that confidence back yet. I think we'll do Reading, they really don't have much quality, and very fragile confidence. Sunderland is different. They do have some quality and players that can hurt you, but only if you let them play. I'm sure loads saw it on tv, and I was at Carrow Road for their game vs Norwich, and they were woeful in the first half. Norwich got in their faces, and they just panicked and gave away possession, every time. They got a bit of a lucky break just before HT which brought it back to 2-1, and Norwich sat back and let them knock it about, which they did fairly well, and would've snatched a point had their finishing been anything like competent. Like the Newcastle game, get in their faces and play with a high tempo, we should be ok. Surely can't be too much to ask after a 2 week break. 6 points IMO, and we'll be buzzing going into the Xmas period.
  18. About 4600. Cracking away day despite not winning.
  19. 6 points please. Reading really are poor, anything less than a win will be a disaster, which is why I'm dreading it. Expecting a really nervous atmosphere that will get worse the longer we're not winning. Sunderland is a strange one. I was at Carrow road on Sunday, and Sunderland were absolutely woeful in the first half. They didn't travel well, fans were quiet, and they couldn't string 3 passes together. But then the same could be said of Norwich in the second half, and Sunderland were unlucky not to get something from the game in the end. Both there for the taking really IMO
  20. 2 weeks off work, mainly on the p*ss, family, friends, good food Versus Sh*t weather, having to go shopping, extra traffic, and Xmas songs. It's more than tolerable IMO, I'm looking forward to it. Some really good parties planned this year.
  21. I fear for Southampton's 'goals against' figure if Gazza plays.
  22. Liverpool to exploit this newly promoted yeam's weaknesses, and finally start playing like a £200m+ team. Them 3-0 Us
  23. December is massive. Liverpool (a) Reading (h) Sunderland (h) Fulham (a) Stoke (a) Some tricky ones there, but we've really got to be looking at getting at least 8 points from that lot IMO.
