  1. Still no seats for the Greens, just 1 for UKIP. Lib Dems may as well pack up and go home.
  2. Excellent. Now surprise us with Test as well!
  3. Boris wins his seat, to be expected. Majority by 9k to Mims in Eastleigh.
  4. Just heard on the radio they're expecting a Tory win in Southampton Itchen too. That'd be big news, Labour since '92
  5. From BBC news: Gerry: If we in Scotland suffer under Cameron then all I can say is that we did it to ourselves. For the SNP will just be 50 odd MPs making a noise but no effective difference to Cameron's austerity program. Well done Nicola - vote SNP and get shafted by the Tories Nice way of looking at it. Are they REALLY getting shafted though? I can't understand all these anti-austerity calls after the mess we've been in. If you've got debts, you don't go ringing up for another loan you can't afford.
  6. Yeah, I can't imagine not being open to giving consideration to another party. It's so narrow minded.
  7. It seems most lefties feel like that. The further north you go, the more he's hated it seems
  8. Tories increase majority in Fareham, UKIP 2nd
  9. All going well for the Sweaty Socialists then. Looks like the Tories played a good card with the swing voters In England, warning about a threat from the other side of the wall.
  10. I'd like that. Save a whole lot of fancying around and hysterical journalism.
  11. Well this is all very boring so far. Just for entertainment, a few predictions: Tories to win Southampton Itchen Labour to win Southampton Test, run fairly close. Tories to win with around 300 seats. UKIP with a paltry 1 seat. Greens zero.
  12. Working a nightshift til 6am, so I'll be keeping up with it on Twitter. I'll be amazed if it's a Conservative win by that much, but I can hope. With any luck that Exit Poll is being generous to UKIP and the Greens and they end up with nothing, Mickey Mouse political parties.
  13. Voted blue. No better alternative IMO and don't see too much need for change.
  14. Jack

    Vasectomy

    This.
  15. Erm, I can think of 275000 reasons for him not to go for £1m + sell on clause.
  16. Just read the first few pages of this thread, for old time's sake. At the time we were saying 'wouldn't it be brilliant if they got knocked down a couple of leagues, brought them back to our level". 2 promotions for us and 3 relegations for them, I don't think anyone could've imagined it going as well as this. And, for me, it's hilarious that they've still got 'hope'. It just means that their pain is prolonged. They must absolutely HATE seeing us tearing it up in the Prem, whereas they've dropped well below the level we were at in our darkest days. Long may it continue.
  17. Surely it's better just to ignore them until we play them, and give it an "ah, that's cute" when they get excited about the big 'rivalry'? Ignore then patronise is the best course of action IMO.
  18. That'd be ideal. It'd be a shame that it's not 3 northern clubs going down if it wasn't for QPR being down there.
  19. Why have you forgotten the Vodka?
  20. Now that WOULD be funny. B'mouth promoted, fairytale story and all that. Saggy chops gets offered a job to be Howe's right hand man, undermines him and helps recruit a couple of 34 year olds on £80k a week, upsets the balance and the dressing room, then bails out in December with them rock bottom on 4 points after we've just stuffed them at Dean Court. Howe resigns, Bournemouth relegated on single figures for the season.
  21. I still can't make my mind up whether I want them to get promoted or completely bottle it then balls it up in the playoffs. Literally 50/50
  22. No worries, it wasn't long ago that I was taking similar advice. It's addictive, my first race was the Great South Run in 2013, I just entered it to get fit and lose some weight at the time. Before all that I was 4 stone heavier than I am now, I smoked and drank too much. I got completely hooked and started learning about proper training, and started running marathons and halfs. At Great South Run 2014 I was 14 mins quicker than the year before and got in the top 300. If I can do that then anyone can with a bit of decent training!
  23. Look forward to that. Tadic in for Davis, Big Vic back in, and Toby back to CB please.
  24. Good luck in the ballot Adrian, May 4th this year, bank holiday Monday.
  25. Well done Goatboy. Beer is the best recovery fuel I find, just drink loads of water later and when the DOMS really kicks in. All this racing today has made me really jealous, as well as inspired. Can't wait to get over this injury and get back out there. A bloke from my club ran a 2:33 PB today. 5:50 pace. Absolutely unreal, I can't run 5k at that pace, it's amazing that people can keep it up for 42k!
