I really really hate P*rtsmouth, however, My housemate is a skate ST holder I work in P*rtsmouth I live on the outskirts of Gosport My girlfriend, her dad, his 4 brothers and all of their kids/wives etc are skates I hate them when we play them, strongly dislike them at all other times. I cheer when they concede and would like nothing more than all those people close to me to suffer when they crash and burn. They temporarily stole our place as the highest placed team in Hampshire, but this will soon be put right, and i will f***ing love it

I would love that. Just imagine that as the match winning goal in stoppage time, followed up with a Beattie style salute to the Skates. Have it.

This. Includes the tube so excellent value. Celebratory tour through London on the way back to Waterloo is in order.

You can't call me racist, I didn't even call him ginger!

I heard that one of the MK Dons players looks like a Wotsit. That is unfortunate if true. Must have strawberry blonde hair or something.
-
We need the entire Northam End to be populated by Saints fans only in future games, fantastic noise coming from there at times. I'd love it to be like that week in week out. Must find somewhere else to put the away fans. Or just play Mk Dons every week, who don't bother bringing any.

Feel a bit sorry for him, thought he worked hard and chased down, but had zero service and was then subbed. Think he needs to get closer to Lambert and get onto the balls he knocks down/on. Didn't help that the Stockport defence won most of the headers when Barnard was playing. He's had a few half chances since he signed, I reckon he'll be good when he gets a goal and some confidence. And hopefully we'll start playing into feet instead of lumping it up to Lambert at the first opportunity

I hate all these crap stats about where we'd be if we'd done this and done that, not counting the first 10 games etc. Unfortunately the football league DO count the first 10 games. Simple facts: We are 13 points off the playoffs (15 points if H'field win their game in hand) We would still be outside the top 6 without the deduction We have 19 games to make up the difference We are not playing very well We have struggled against sides at the top all season We have the added distraction of massive cup games I think the playoffs are too much of an ask, we really need to improve our away form. No more room for dropped points. Don't get me wrong, we're having a good season, but the bad start and the -10 has left us with a very unlikeky chance of making it
-
Think we'll be lucky to make it to the playoffs, then if we do I'm not confident that we'd win it. We'd more than likely have to beat 2 out of Charlton, Norwich and Colchester. Fairly certain that the skates are going down. And when they do, who's going to bail them out?? As has been said before, all they currently have is premiership status and 2 or 3 premiership standard players. When they go down they will have neither, and nothing. I like that thought.

Just a s*** Keiran Dyer IMO

Thought we played some nice stuff in the first half and should have been 2 up at a minimum. Second half we totally forgot how to play football. Thought the Luton managed must have told his lot to close us down much quicker and to be fair they did a good job of making it hard for us, but we just resorted to hoofball. Thought Thomas had a brilliant game after the first 15, in when he let the ball bounce a couple of times and missed challenges. Quality free kicks from Lambert, but he never really made an impact other than that. Lack of service really. Lallana is different class, love watching him on the ball. Thought that Waigo and Antonio were useless. They get in good wide positions but never get a decent ball in the box.

I think it'll be a lot easier to assess our chances after the next 4 games: Colchester A Huddersfield H Millwall A Swindon H I fully expect us to win our home games there, and a couple of draws away, possibly a win at Milwall. I think 8 points out of those games would be a very good return going into an 'easier' run in, considering we've got the added distractions of FA cup and JPT ties.
-
Away games this season: Huddersfield 3-1 Swindon 1-0 Stockport 1-1 Charlton 1-1 Carlisle 1-1 Southend 1-3 Oldham 1-3 Leyton Orient 2-2 Bristol Rovers 2-3 Hartlepool 1-3 Northampton 2-3 Walsall 1-3 Some poor results in there early on, but not bad reading
-
We've got 4 players scoring regularly, who really cares if Morgan isn't scoring? Having 2 strikers banging them in for fun, and Lallana getting that many goals from midfield....I've never seen a Saints team as prolific in front of goal. Yes, the standard of opposition isn't what we're used to, but it's definately a nice feeling when you go out on a match daay expecting a win and to see some goals.

In case GM isn't actually taking the p***: FFS. We built a stadium 8 years ago, which is bigger/better than at least 5 prem team's stadiums, and most of the championship's stadiums. Portsmouth are s***, can't fill a 21000 capacity stadium in the premier league, and are getting relegated meaning that their attendances will drop again. In summary, they are s***, they are c***s, and they do not deserve to move out of that shack they call a football stadium.

So unlucky to be 2 goals down, looked like it wasn't going to be our day, but a spirited fightback. Cracking second half of football, it's not often that we've seen a Saints side so dominant for such long periods. I was exhausted at full time.

Very very hungover and lacking sleep. And have to be at Soton Central within the hour, more than likely with a box of lager to get me going
-
Anyone else struggling to get an even number of people to take advantage of the 4 for 2 on the trains on saturday? It's looking like we're only going to have 6 of us travelling from Soton central, and now 4 of them may be going up in the car. Either way, we're looking for 2 more to make up a group of 4/8, to get the best deal possible. Give us a shout if you're in the same boat. Jack

I'd like to see that question answered before we get accused of being JCLs for not going to the Walsall game.

It's a London away game FFS, we always take 2500-3000+ fans to London away games, tickets permitting. There's no bandwagon to jump on, it's just that the majority of fans who travel away will always try to get to the London games. Easy travelling, a day on the lash, and a good atmosphere due to a bigger away crowd makes these games much more appealling. While I'm on the bandwagon, I'm still after 1 or 2 more tickets if anyone has/knows someone who has a spare or 2. Face value + a beer offered
-
I know it's a long shot but I'm after 1 or 2 extra tickets. Will pay face value and pick them up whenever is convenient, in and around Southampton or in London.

I remember it well. The run ended vs Southend away. We lost 2-1. I lost my £800 accumulator due to that result.
