Dislike, especially the long sleeved version. Can't put my finger on it but there's something that doesn't look right to me.
-
This. Many clubs do it before KO with similar sized flags. Would be a shame if it didn't become a regular thing for us too.

It just looks like to me that NC is going to make us pay for our success. Our ST prices are extremely high for a club just promoted to the NPC, compared to other clubs in the league. But I suppose it's justified by ambition. Paying more is fine by me if that extra money is invested in the first team, bringing more on the field success, bringing more income to reinvest etc etc. I just worry that NC is going to see us as bigger than we are as we move on through the leagues

Doubt we'll be much cheaper than that after a couple of seasons back in the prem. (if/when we get there)
-
Can't see why KD is being doubted on last season's performance. He was absolutely immense and ensured we hung on at the end of games on numerous occasions. He's a perfectly good championship keeper, but if Bart or someone else can put pressure on his place, that would be an added bonus. I think NA has bigger concerns than getting a new GK

Kelvin Davis. Thought he was **** poor when he joined.

Not early enough for me! Girlfriend's best mate is getting married on April 7th at 3pm. So, if it is put back to midday, I've got a chance of getting to the game and then the wedding. Even if it means going to SMS in my suit. C'mon sky!

Championship fixtures released - Leeds at home first

What an absolute pile of toss. West Ham, Cardiff, Brighton and palace away games are all midweek. Boooo!! -
They have 14 days. HTH
-
Also, Coventry must have 15000+ spare seats to sell based on last season's attendance. I don't think we will expect the same problem. Supply & demand...
-
I'm not so sure. I think Messi could learn a lot from Lallana and bring it into his game. His first touch and short passing needs some work IMO

That team goal wins hands down, but before my time.

Favourite of the season, or favourite goal ever....?? I'll go for both. This season : - Chappers vs Manure. Deservedly giving us the lead. Ever: - Poor quality vid, but WHAT a goal. Matty Oakley vs the skates or - Marian Pahars, 2nd goal in the 3-0 win over P*rtsmouth. Helped make them look stupid that day.
-
Do we need another coach? I reckon our current ones did a satisfactory job this season
-
I only got to 2 away games, poor show. Best - Sheffield Wednesday - good result early in the season when we weren't doing great, and we stayed up there and went out on the p155, pretty good night. Worst - Walsall. Everything about it was dire. Rubbish area, poor drinking options, awful result, worst home support I've ever seen, ****e ground.

IOW festival, Hideout festival in Croatia, Creamfields, Ibiza, and a couple of weddings. Then maybe build the 3 bits of ikea flatpack that I bought 2 months ago, if there's enough time before the opening weekend.

Lots of people don't fancy us tomorrow. Looking at recent form I think we should have no problem. They've got 1 point out of the last 6 games, and their last 4 home games: Charlton 0-1 Brentford Charlton 1-1 Tranmere Charlton 1-3 Carlisle Charlton 1-3 Exeter Based on that, anything but a win would be a very poor result

Glad I've got P'boro in my acca. Odds just before ko were 6-4 Sheff wed, 11-8 Posh
-
I think we'll just about be ok if we win by 2 every game
-
Something about Posh winning at a canter.....
-
Sheff Wednesday rarely get over 20k, and spend most of their time silent or booing their players. Even when they were going fairly well when we played them at Hillsborough , this was still the case. SW 0-3 P'boro IMO
-
But we play prettier football with Morgan, which is more important than winning IMO
-
This. We want a bloodbath, a couple of red cards to key players. Don't want anyone to be properly injured, but a few knocks and some tired legs could favour us. But, Sheff Wed have been pony recently and I fully expect Posh to win at a canter

One of those "Who would you keep next season?" Threads
Jack replied to Lighthouse's topic in The Saints
We'll need a few additions instead of an overhaul IMO. We play so much better against sides who will play football, and on much better pitches. In this league I fancy us more against any of top 6 at home rather than the bottom 6 away, simply due to the pitch being in good condition and knowing we're not coming up against a team that's gonna park the bus. With our current squad I think we'd survive comfortably enough in the NPC, replace a few of the regular starting 'squad players', with a bit of quality, and I reckon we would push for top 6
