It's the talk of Stadium:MK! Interestingly enough that the local MK paper is reporting this evening that an unnamed club has had a bid turned down today. That's the way we do business if I'm not mistaken. He would fit the squad profile as I know his personality would sit with NA & co very well. He's no Billy Big-B*****ks in fact he's just the opposite. It all makes sense to me all round.

IF CMS is as highly-rated as some might suggest then why has he only joined Brighton? A goalscoring striker is a sought-after player, so why don't the football people fancy him? Or taking a punt on him? At last we are starting to build foundations, something we have all wanted for a long time, both on and off the pitch. Lallana signing was a fabulous show of 'intent' + Lambert and Martin. NA said that he did not expect us to sign anyone before the end of July, maybe start of August. Listen to the man. Lowe sanctioned the signing a number of players so we had quantity, not quality. I've read on this board how NC, when he was spoken to, has backed the 'team ethos' of togtherness, plus add his desire to want us to do well and the 'quality' that will achieve that then it all adds up! I'm unsure why people are't seeing this? Jack Cork is on a break after being on U21 duty - maybe there is no big panic? Plus teams won't let someone go unless they bring someone in! Keep the faith my Saints family! :-)

Very happy with this window. Adam Lallana signs a new deal, AOC not moving, plus some pace in (Forte & N'Guessan) ........ three points tomorrow night now the focus! COYS!

NA has done well thus far and one defeat does not mean we are out of it. I think he got the tactics wrong today and I would like, probably like 99% of us, that we go away and have a go! The likes of Barny on the bench is a waste IMHO. Must do better against the better sides.

"Seems" - What are the actual facts? I don't think anybody knows. Great post by Weston Saint on Howe's "job to soon" and Adkins' position. Sometimes circumstances dictate and it's not all black & white.

I personally hope FF keeps posting! What people fail to realise is matters such as signings/new managers are ALWAYS changing. You line up 2 or 3 for the one position and sign the best one, unless something better comes along and you blow them 2 or 3 out of the water and sign someone better. Ward/Fonte springs to mind! But at the same time, players are getting offers and keeping 2 or 3 open unless a better option becomes available then the same things happen - but it's the club getting blown out! I look forward to reading future FF postings :-)

I would suspect the club prefers to release this information in due course once a replacement comes in, otherwise people will be moaning without knowing the what's going on behind the scenes. Sad to see a player who showed such quality has gone down hill so quick :-/
