He's young, talented and showed enough in the games he played last season to get more credit than that. The club obviously think so with his contract.

He ran fast, he tried hard, but he never influenced anything. Never put in the right cross, the right pass, it just was never going to happen for him here. And he seemed to do bugger all up at Bolton recently too. I don't quite understand him as a player really. I would be interested to see if a change of league / country will make any difference.

MLS. I don't watch many games featuring the other teams, but I've been to most Portland Timbers home games so far this season, and watch their away games on TV. They beat CL-Bound Norwich the other day, the MLS must not be as Sh ite as rumors suggest...

So he's 23, left us in 2009 for Brentford and is now 'one for the future' at Cardiff. Sounds like a crushing loss. Who else slipped through our fingers?

I don't know, he came out of the gates pretty fully formed if you ask me. Yes, he has become more consistent and will get better, but he was a good player before our influence.
