This is exactly what I was saying as I was watching the game yesterday. I was hoping if Long came on it would be for Pelle, as Mane's pace was the only thing close to being a threat against their defence. I usually appreciate what Pelle does but yesterday he was non existent. We need a different approach with the players that we have, especially when the current system is not creating any goals at all. When end you think back to last season and having Lambert, Lallana and JRod playing all over the front - switching positions, instinctive passing and understanding with each other - it makes you realise what a brick wall we've currently run into.

I think it was as much about Forster not wanting to have to fight another keeper for his spot. From day one it looked like he was guaranteed to be number one. I can't blame Boruc for leaving, but we should never have let him go.

Our On-the-Beach mentality is a f**king disgrace

No, I agree - I can see him using this summer and really getting things set up how he wants them. -

Absolutely agree with all of that. Im just worried that Koeman doesn't seem to know at the moment how to get us firing with the players and systems we currently have.. I can see a lot of personnel changes coming in the summer. We need midfielders and strikers who can score goals. -
I know nothing about databases and I think Art is on something.

3-0. I'll be happy to see them in the Prem, and hope they stay up too.

Athletic Bilbao to honour Matt Le Tissier

Me too. I liked them anyway, but this seals the deal. I didn't know their shirts were based on ours, that's great. -
and the sun is shining on the city he calls “England’s Monaco.”...

It's the replies that are the most genius, I can just picture enraged interweb readers screaming at their computers.

The Long Overdue Pointless 2015/16 (Adidas) Kit Thread

FFS. I ****ing hate the ****ing Sounders. They are the obnoxious Pompey to the fine virtuous Southampton that is the Portland Timbers. Their nickname is even a similar flappy flat fish to the skate. ****ing flounders. The hideous shades of fluorescent bile green that they play in are a constant source of amusement to most other teams fans, and the Seahawks aren't much better. Seriously, most of the shirts over the last few years look like some kind of HazMat suit. That green sash shirt looks diabolical. ****. -
This bugged me last night when the wife showed me last night, so I did some forensic photo CSI in Lightroom and solved it... I thought it was white and gold at first - the photo looks like it's taken outside and the dress is in the shade... I assumed the camera was white balancing for the sunlight making the colour temperature of the dress 'colder' and appearing more of a blue shade of white. It turns out I was giving the godawful camera sensor far too much credit. I looked at it on the computer and realised that that it is actually taken inside a shop of some kind. So that golden 'sunlight' is actually mostly fluorescent indoor light, which is a lot 'colder' - so I decreased the colour temperature until it matched what the inside of a department store usually looks like. It's also massively over exposed, and once you bring it down and recover some of the detail in the highlights, you can start to see how the dress is black and blue. The 'gold' is what happens when the worst camera in the world takes the worst photo in the world of something black. It's so massively over exposed and way too warm that it no longer looks like black. Just a sad noisy mess. Turn your SLR up to it's highest ISO setting and take a picture in a dark room, add in the wrong white balance and your blacks won't look black. The 'noise' is so crazy and the pixels are so colourised that the warm color temp makes it look 'gold'. Once you do some noise reduction they look a bit more... Black. So, in summary. This picture is the result of a horrible camera committing a crime against photography. Most people who think the dress is white and gold are compensating for the fact that the light in the background looks like sunlight and the dress looks like it's in the shade. That's what my eyes assumed at first. The freaky weirdos who see it as blue and black are somehow able to bypass what the evil camera did to the image and are immune to the colour temperature of light. I can see that a camera absolutely trashed the black, but how the hell do you guys actually see it as black??? I'm glad I'm not you or I would have to find a different job.... This was just a quick 2 minute recovery job in Lightroom, but i'm betting the real dress looks a lot like this.

US Consortium put in Saints bid..?

No. Yes. -
I think the price difference might have something to so with the latest ice age receding by May! I read a couple of days ago that it was so cold that NYC hadn't had a murder in 10 days, which was a new record.
-
The main point to remember with Priceline is that when you do the 'name your price' option, you won't know which hotel you're staying at until your offer is accepted and you are charged. So you have to be extra careful with the options you choose such as star rating and location. We have had good and bad experiences with it.

Off to bed now, but shoot me a pm if you want some more info / advice on airbnb or New York / Brooklyn. We just spent forever researching and finding a place for me and the wife, then another one for my mum visiting from England. It's currently my specialist subject.
