  1. Don't touch a hearing aid shop unlessx you like wasting several hundreds of pounds.them. See your GP and go NHS. Absolutely brilliant
  2. Its because of where the TV cameras are situated. The fullest parts of the ground will be the ones where most exposure is given, not to mention the electronic scoreboard. I've got to sit elsewhere for City. Simple choice: do I but a ticket or not.
  3. God I agree with you so much.
  4. I feel an outcast, not having anything to moan about. I really enjoy a Pucca Steak Pie. Bought when I get in the ground and eaten at half time. However I wouldn't drink any of the overpriced fizzy crap that masquerades as beer or cider and for a fizzy drink I want REAL pepsi. With Sugar. I don't want chemical sweeteners. So look, I've found something negative after all. It's hard to accept that to counter one of the side effects of my medical treatment I'm told to devour as many calories as I can every day with Cream Cakes essential. Fast food? Is it full of fat? Fill me up Scotty Cancer isdn't all bad I'm finding
  5. I have no thoughts about the programme because I won't spend my cash on such tripe that has been well outdated by social media. But there will be those who always buy one because that's what they do: their thoughts would be of most interest. I agree with Johnboy that it would probably go down well with occasionals in corporate, but for us regulars I wonder how many actually buy one.
  6. Don't you mean top of the table for not wasting money on buying players for the sake of spending money?
  7. It still anoys me after all these years that I couldn't see the cup being handed to Peter because I was blinded by the bloody lights needed no doubt for TV. I bloody hate TV
  8. As Jim is shown on the pages, perhaps you could try here
  9. I reckon they are about equal: at ending on their arses that is, with their hands up appealing whilst being out of the game and unable to cover against the inevitable counter attack.
  10. A Freeview box (or a digital TV) takes it's signal from a normal ariel whereas Freesat works from the same dish as Sky. So once your new sky dish is active (I assume connected to a Sky+ box) you can also have it wired to give a feed to a Freesat box. But check out with your installer how many feeds you can take off of the dish. I think its usually 4. You will need 2 for Sky+ and another 1 for a standard Freesat box or 2 for a recordable Freesat box.
  11. edit.
  12. I don't know where I have gone wrong. I've just logged into my account and clicked to buy tickets. I chose my "reserved" seat (the one on my season ticket) that cost me £25 for the seat plus £1.50 booking fee. All details pre-populated on the "form" as was the credit card I used to pAY. An Email acknowledgement was received within seconds. Frankly it was excellent customer service and good value to see the current European Champions at only £25 seat cost as opposed to £42 for a league game. The low cost reflects my value to the business of being a season ticket holder. Oh, the Email confirmed that "FA Cup match tickets will be sent directly to your Season Card." No problems: well done Saints
  13. No, he was at it last season as well
  14. Season Ticket Holders who do not bring their season ticket card on a match day will need to visit the ticket office where a duplicate match ticket will be issued at a cost of £5.00 which is non refundable. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/tickets/ticket-prices/ see 2.6 Replacement season ticket cards are available at a cost of £25.00 which is non refundable. Please note - original card / ticket will be cancelled from the system immediately and will not allow entry to the stadium Proof of id is essential and only the season ticket holder can collect a duplicate card.
  15. I beg to differ: I am a season ticket holder and could not get a ticket for Arsenal.
  16. You can link to something that exists, but to link to something that doesn't ??
  17. Wasn't Wilde or Crouch something to do with Trant: that were advertised on the new pitchside electronic thingy on Sunday
  18. oops not current squad
  19. e) You will never know
  20. , no, all home tickets were sold out long ago
  21. I hate seeing us lose as well. But I was expecting seeing us lose the majority of games this year, and so far I've paid £676 to Saints for the priveledge. Truth is, I expect us to get relegated, and I'll enjoy life in the Championship again next season. The best we can hope for is to be a West Brom type team: down one year and back the next: but each time being able to strengthen the team year on year until we can stay up and compete. The five year plan is over: up early. The next plan should now be operating.
  22. Really? I thought he was immense
  23. Saints Under 21s Set For Sutton PUBLISHED 17:09 6th August 2012 Saints' Under 21s will take on Blue Square South side Sutton United in a pre-season friendly this Thursday. The match has been arranged in order to give players from the Development Squad some extra match practice ahead of the inaugural Barclays U21 Premier League campaign. The Under 21s have already recorded victories over Sholing and Winchester City this pre-season, while a Southampton XI saw off League 2 opposition in Exeter City just under a fortnight ago. Travelling fans will find a familiar face at Gander Green Lane in Us player-coach Paul Telfer, who made 148 appearances for Saints between 2001 and 2005. Kick off this Thursday will take place at 7.30pm, with tickets being priced at £5 for adults, £3 for OAP concessions and £1 for under-16s.
  24. There are two problems with getting a beer at half time as I see it. ( Ed. OK three, cos I was forgetting how rubbish it is anyway and who in their right mind drinks the crap on offer) Because they seem to employ morons and there are choices of what you want it just makes it too difficult for them to serve quickly. I have fond memories of a few years back in Reading (where I used to go quite often for Rugby) Multi-pour Guinness dispensers pouring 6 pints at a time and put available to be taken by the servers: they just needed to be able to count and press the appropriate number on the till. And this was backed up by the mobile sellers as well. Totally separate food bars. Used to be able to get 4 pints and take them back to the seat. 4 pints for each half and time for a **** as well~: Went to Hyde Park on Saturday where (ok they ONLY served Heineken) trays containing 12 pints were being dispensed at a time and the whole tray of 12 was being put up for the servers to give to you. 50 yard queues served in minutes. It could be done even at SMS. But have "lager and beer bar" serving pints only (prices for each need to be the same) and ALL food should be from separate food outlets.
