OK, lets try to make this simple for you. You are under a transfer embargo, brought about because of enormous debts mainly obtained by paying ridiculous salaries you could not afford. You have sent out on loan some kids, on a few hundred a week, with the sole intention of reducing your squad size down to below 20 which, according to league rules, is the minimum you can have. You have then replaced those kids with premiership fringe players, on 20k per week. You have therefore managed to INCREASE your wage bill by almost 2mil a year, with the same amount of staff. That, my fishy friend, is the "financial impact on the overall budget". Jeez.

I, like most, do not know what happened but surely if it was multiple times, with a bottle, he would have been arrested on the spot and taken down to the station for processing. Bad hand or not. Or if hand was really bad, arrested and taken to hospital with an escort, then taken to station for processing. Not sure street bail would have been used for such a serious assault. That much aggression surely would require time too cool off! Although I am by no means an expert on the matter, far from it.

I will get loads for this, but I reckon he was like this last season as well, certainly from the home games I saw of him. He has never won his fair share of headers from the hoofs, rarely outjumps the defender and makes it so easy for them. Everyone seems to think he is this awesome target man, and yet when do we start playing sh1te both this season and last??? When we start to hoof the ball up to RL! What he DID do last year, was score loads of goals. Thats the ONLY difference between this season and last. Last year the keeper would not have saved his header in the first half on saturday! That is not to say I dont think he is an awesome striker, and our most important player, I just dont think he has ever been our BEST player, not by a long way.

Not sure we will see too many updates tbh. I seem to remember NA saying that he does not like to report on injuries as it is not info he wants oppo's knowing. Imagine Irvines face when he found out AL was ont he bench!

You are going always going to struggle to get a transfer outside of the transfer window, unless it is to the skates of course!

Hows this for an explanation. AP gets on NC's case, badgering him for the money to sign a Brazillian CM from italy. NC is reluctant to sanction loan. AP presses, insisting the player is Pele but with a tackle. NC is still not convinced. AP jumps up and down saying without this loan, the team will not get promoted. NC folds, says fine, if this player is the player you reckon, get him in. Player comes in, plays last 5 mins of an easy win. After game, NC just asks why this world beater only got 5 mins. Dont think that is particularly unreasonable, nor would I think it is particularly unusual. Seeing as noone has the slightest fecking idea what went on, it seems rather bizarre to use it to beat him with!

You are maybe correct, however as I see it, he has taken in applicants, identified the ideal candidate, applied for permission to approach, interviewed, and agreed terms with the manager in question. All done in a RELATIVELY timely manner (possibly could have been done quicker, but who here actually knows how long these things take). It has now been delayed because, for whatever reason, comps cant be agreed. Its not like he is not working on securing the managerial postition. Its just that it is hitting a number of obstacles. I am not sure what else he could have done to be honest.

How do we know how he is handling it exactly? Just because Scunny dont like it, doesn't mean he is doing it wrong.

Surely if you are a currently employed manager, you are approached and offered a job elsewhere, if you want to take up that job it is up to you to resign from your current job? As you have pointed out, the compensation gets sorted out later. Its how it works isn't it? I am still failing to see what he has done wrong other than take a promising manager away from a club that cant afford to lose him. That in itself should be a good thing for us.
