Are they still not getting their Saints news from the Echo then? Funny. I could have sworn they still have match reports, transfer news, injury news, speculation, quotes etc etc etc.

A year ago, I would have agreed with that, however we now hear about transfers FIRST from the OS. I think they have definitely turned that around.

There are currently 4 news items on the Daily Echo website about the game on saturday. I am sure that if you rely on the Echo for all things Saints, the 'ban' (if it actually exists) is not having much of an impact.

Coached my under 14s since under 7s. My advice - dont do it if you want praise. Get someone to deal with the parents. Include your other half as much as you can. Dont think you can tell a kids ability at 8 years old. some of my best players now could hardly kick a ball at 8. Have fun.

So is a 1-0 win against crawley is better than a 2-1 loss to Man U? Seeing as your sweeping statement above does not account for opposition in any way. Also, would it be fair to say you learn more from a loss than a win? Our next game should give you the win you crave, however I would bet the players would accept more was gained from the 2 losses.

I am getting the feeling that AP thinks that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain may well fit that role of impact sub. He is also getting a good long look at Lee Holmes. Maybe he is happy that some of the fringe players from last season are stepping up a level. Plus, lets be honest, we have no idea what deals are in the pipeline. We know deals take several weeks to complete. We also know we never hear about them till the ink is dry. I would not be at all surprised to see 1 or 2 more faces before the start of the season, but thats about it, cos thats about all AP feels we need.

I do sometimes go over 30. My model of car is irrelevant. I do also choose not to throw items, of any weight, indiscriminately into a crowd of people. I also go to football matches with the sole intention of watching the football. When its over, i go home. EVERY SINGLE TIME. Any kind of violent behaviour at a football match deserves to be punished. We have all moved on, its not the 80's any more, I think its about time these morons do the same. Maybe, just maybe, this will stop people from doing it again. Although I guess I wont hold my breath cos they are not the brightest are they?

I see one of them had extra added for a previous fight. And it would appear his younger brother (same surname and address) was involved. Not exactly first time offender was he? To be honest, let em rot. I don't care how heavy the item was they threw, like I dont care how close a drink driver was to the limit. Yeah LOL, cos Man U et al would really struggle to sell their season tickets in just, say a month, what with them being so damn easy to get hold of. They might have to dig into the waiting list for spare season tickets if they did that! It also doesn't need the business acumen of Richard Branson to realise that if you bring in £5million or so income before you close down for the season , that would be a really good business move. But why is it? What else would you be happy to pay for and not use for 3 months? And to say that clubs doing it before the end of the season in order to pay for the close season is tosh is just nonsense. It is the ONLY reason why they would do it. We do not need to do it, therefore we are not doing it. I really cant see why it is such a huge issue.

I Don't get it. I would rather wait till the last min to by my season ticket, providing I still get an 'early bird' discount, than pay for something now that I can't use till August. Sorry, but just because "99%" do it, does not mean it is in the best interest of the fan. It probably helps that I am able to still budget for something BEFORE I have to pay for it. If I need to put away circa £30 a month, then I need to put away £30 a month. I dont need to know the exact price to do that. If i am slightly out I can add/take away a bit later on.

+1 Why buy a left back and move our current left back out of position. Leave Dan where he is and buy a right back, that would make far more sense. After all, we have NO right backs in the squad at the moment.

This is the problem. Our administrator and just about every other one, considers it their job to get the business back on an even keel and get as much debt repaid to the creditors as is humanly possible. I think the likelyhood of ANYONE other than NC and ML knowing the contents of NC' contract and renumeration package is a huge fat chunky zero . NC has been in the media saying there is no rift with AP. Amazing how often people choose to forget that.

Out of interest, how many times should NC deny a rift between himself and AP? Reported in the Daily Echo back in march - "But the Saints chairman has denied there has ever been any rift with manager Alan Pardew over the team’s results or position.". Do we need him to repeat himself on a weekly basis? After all, these reports in the DM seem to be repeating the same story from february with no new sources coming forward.
