My brother has this same hatred towards Guly, ever since the Huddersfield game when we smashed them 4-1 but he wasted a lot of good opportunities. I think this thread sums him up. Sometimes he is great sometimes awful.

8 wins out of 9 gives us 92 points, definitely promoted allowing us one slip up. Every time Huddersfield drop points we are allowed one more slip up, that is how I am looking at it. I think we will do it but it will be close.

Totally summed it up. The Lallana news is much MUCH more important at the moment. Hopefully Guly will put in the sort of performances he diud around the turn of the year.

The Birmingham game was amazing! And although we were obviously devestated at Pride Park, that was an unbelievable day out and our support was fantastic!

He has got the potential to be as good as Walcott, but I do feel the hype has been a bit over the top. However we do sometimes forget he is only 17. I also think we forget how well Walcott has actually done. Just because it has taken him a few years to get in the Arsenal first team fairly regularly and the World Cup fiasco in 2006, some people seem to think he has been a bit of a flop, forgetting that he regularly plays and scores in the Prem and Champs League.

I play football on Saturdays, as a result have only been to about 7 or 8 games this season, but I do try to get to as many evening games as possible. With the Bank holiday game, Charlton on a Tuesday and my team having no game on 16th when we play Bristol Rovers or 7th May for the Walsall game I am hoping to get to at least 4/5 games. Nothing wrong with a ralying call, good on you Fanimal, hopefully will convert a few more to attend.

Last nights games haven't made any difference, just we have one more game in hand now. Hudders and Peterboro have to play each other and will also definitely drop other points along the way, as will we. Not many games ago we thought we had blown it by losing away at Walsall, but we responded with 3 great wins. That is the nature of this league and football in general and will continue until the end of the season, but I am confident we have enough to get 2nd.
