Having given up on watchinng Saints (ie this team) this year I decided to go and watch Glos at Twickenham yesterday. What a spineless performance that was !! But at least the Glos coach came out afterwards and slammed the players and basically stated that they were not up to wearing the shirt. There will be a clear out. I will probably give Saints another go next season but only if we basically start over and get in a decent manager and captain (not a goalkeeper either).

Spot on Ladysaint - that is the difference.

My 15 year old son !! He shows more passion playing on a Sunday than this lot has done all season apart from a few notable excpetions. And he can tackle which seems to be a part of the game that has been lost on our midfield and full backs all season,

Svensson is doing busy coaching these days - haven't you noticed how well we defend corners ??

Cyber applause to all the Saints fans at Wolves today..

Agree - mugs through and through. A credit to the club though which is more than can be said of the players. -
We have no pace or desire anywhere on the pitch and strikers that show no movement at all. We have been a sorry bunch of no hopers all season.Let's just hope that Norwich and Notts Forests win tomorrow to put an end to this torture once and for all.

Why the hell is Wotton playing ??

A 3-0 loss at Watford for sure ....................

Poll: Will y0u attend next season if lowe and wilde are still here?
ahill replied to Mr X's topic in The Saints
No - there is no excitement at home games any more. Irrespective of Lowe we need an experienced manager here. -
I agree - you can't even get there in your helicopter because Soton Airport is closed. Getting there is probably not the problem - getting home could well be as more snow is forecast.
-
Agree - we are doomed and the laughing stock of football.
-
Who really cares anymore ?? If we can't confidently beat the world beaters of Doncaster at home then we are doomed !!
-
No way - I will still support the team (as I am sure we all will) but I will go on a game by game basis. I am afraid my blinkered loyalty has taken is final beating. The Notts Forest game was the final straw for me and the stupid formation that we continue to play.
-
There is no issue here - Forest were staying up anyway. We need a couple of other teams above us to free fall a little - mind you if we don't improve our home form then what other teams do is largely irrelevant.
-
No loss whatsoever - but he is one of many !

gillet & Robertson in, McGoalduff & Euell out on Boxing day please.

I agree with nickh - Robertson offers nothing - why we have him and Peckhart on loan is a mystery to me. -
Agree - booing your own players is not good, just as bating your own fans over Man U tickets is not good either. We need to encourage fans to come not to put them off. But regular fans are getting frustrated, one home win in 12 and that was versus 10 men. DMG just does not seem interested though so I can see why he gets criticisim. Lallana is different, he tries but seems lost in the clueless formation that we are playing - he has nothing to feed off so he is probably getting frustrated too.
-
You gave McGoldrick and Lallana 3 and James 6 !! 1 at most. I agree about Cork though - he was the only one that looked the least bit motivated.
-
It is time to vote with our feet - boycott the Reading match - and do something entertaining like watching a Midsomer Murders repeat ?!
-
Agree 100% with "Give it to Ron". I have been a season ticket holder with my young son for many years now and it has come to the point where he just does not enjoy it anymore. He is 15 now - l feel sorry for the younger kids who have just seen one win all season at home and that was against 10 men.
-
You must be joking !!

15,000 tickets sold, Season ticket holder allowed to buy more tickets

Does anyone know if there has been a delay in the ticket office mailing out the Man U tickets ?? I bought mine via phone on the 5th Dec and they have not arrived yet ??
