Apparently so. I spoke to the ticket office this week and was told that he no longer works for the club. I mentioned this in the Blackpool Tickets thread but it probably got lost in there somewhere. As you say, he was always a pleasure to deal with and extremely helpful whenever I contacted him.

Same as Eastcowzer. Luckily we've managed to get our usual seats too, by chance more than anything. According to the ticket office, season ticket holder's seats are not being reserved for them as they do not expect the match to sell out. If it was a bigger team/or they expected a sell out, then they would reserve season ticket holder's seats for a period of time. Hope this info is useful. Another piece of info that I haven't seen anywhere else (apologies if it is), is that David Luker no longer works at the club. Very sad as he was always extremely helpful whenever I contacted him with any queries. All the best David.

No, they haven't Mike. Tried to get our seats on Saturday morning, and one had already been sold. Why season ticket holders are purchasing different seats is beyond me, but it's frustrating when you can't even get your own seat for a cup game. When you ring the ticket line, they ask for your customer number. Surely this number tallies with the seat location? Thought that would be a pretty logical way to check, but there you go.

I usually agree with FF on most things, but have to agree with you here Papa. Strachan showed passion. He had our players fit, organised, motivated and we had a winning mentality. All things we have lacked since he left. Ok, we might not have set the world alight with the football we played, but he got results and that's what counts. At the end of the day, I would much rather see my team win, rather than playing pretty football and ending up with next to nothing every week. The latter being pretty much our story since we dropped out of the Prem. Strachan also gave this club it's best season since Lawrie Mac, when we finished 8th and got to the FA Cup final. The final being my best experience as a Saints fan.

Weren't there rumours of him going there between leaving us and going to Celtic? I thought he said that he would find it difficult to go there because of his association with us, or did I dream that up??

Um - I sit down by the Saints bench, and can confirm that Hockaday was definitely NOT on there at Saturday's game. Haven't heard about Lowe's "football advisor" though!
