  1. Lallana, Lancashire, Gillet, and Mills(Who started the season a regular). Plus others who have been used occasionally, Thomoson, Paterson etc. Reality is you are wrong.
  2. Much better at left back than he ever was anywhere else. Came as a goal scoring winger and did nothing but flop. I actually cannot think of a game where I came away thinking he ever did anything other than decent. Did well for us at left back and fair play to him for that but other than that average at best.

Saw him at Goals in Millbrook a couple of weeks ago playing with his mates. He looked ****ing ****. Loved it when I abused him for still not being able to score, and then 2 minutes later classic Claus, screamed "****ING KICK HIM" when someone was holding the ball in the corner.
  4. But he didn't play did he? Infact what he did do was go to Aalborg and do **** all instead. Bit like what he did for us last season. No idea where he has got this hero status from. Just because he's not been playing while we have been playing **** doesn't mean he is the answer to our problem and is suddenly a world beater. That said, fair play to the lad he's come back and scored a couple. Must start on Saturday but imo with McGoldrick behind him not instead of him. McGoldrick is our top scorer and if any team struggling drops there top goalscorer its madness!
  5. Radio link anyone other than Saints TV? Or does someone want me to log into there Saints TV account?
  6. Wrong. **** poor. Nowhere near England quality hence the reason he hardly played for them. Great last ditch tackler because his posistioning ****ing stenches.
  7. Alright, so its not Ruperts to sell. That still doesnt get over the fact that as of yet nobody has shown any real interest in buying our club from whoevers it is. There is nobody out there willing to take over from Lowe so what exactly is this protest hoping for? You march, Lowe goes then what.... That post still doesn't argue the fact that this march is pointless and will end up being embarrasing. Well done on having friends in London in the PR industry by the way.
  8. Wilde maybe? The actual Chairman? I think people have just assumed Lowe does everything at the club and therefore is to blame for everything, regardless of the fact that as the Chairman of the football club every desicion has to be passed by Wilde aswell.
  9. Are people in this thread dumb? Surely until somebody actually comes along willing to buy the club off Lowe etc then walking around town singing a few songs and waving a banner isnt going to make alot of difference? Even if there was someone there willing to buy the club, I'd still doubt very much the affect a march will have on Lowe. The one thing I have learnt about Lowe over the years is that he's stubborn and probably couldn't give two ****s about you lot telling him to **** off. He's put up with it before, it really is not going to shock him into running off this time. As said above, spontaneous protests are better and more effective. Lowe wont give a **** that some mugs are walking about in the ****ing rain and neither will anybody else. As also said above somewhere its it hardly going to make the news is it? Pointless.

Anyone seen this before? http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=t_B1H-1opys It certainly makes you think about things when you see the latest news etc.
  11. He can to be fair. Remember him playing there in friendlies so if worse comes to worse. That said I'm pretty sure by the time we play in the championship next we will have a centre back on loan.
  12. The cheaper option of Mr Wii? "At half time you are going to go down there and amaze people"
  13. Nothing is certain. So its not certain Cork is staying, its not certain he is going. Wait and see you knob.
  14. Give it time for **** sake. Its only been a couple of hourse since Pearce was recalled after being told he can stay for a month. Give it a week or so for us to get someone else in before you start having a go. Classic proof of some of the ridicoulous hatred for our club at the moment from our own fans. Anything that happens, however how small or how impossible to react to in a couple of hours will somehow come back to this club being **** and Lowe, Jan and McGoldrick being behind it all.
  15. It was 4 2 3 1. Exactly the same way we have been playing all season. Only difference was McGoldrick played in the hole instead of uptop. Probably suits his drop off game alot more and he has the ability to link up with the striker more than say Surman or Lallana. As has been pointed out earlier on in this thread, it is a stupid pointless argument as it has been all season. You are a deluled retarded mug if you think otherwise.
  16. Shut up. McGoldrick scored after he made some great space and made a decent run combined with a fantastic run from McLaggon. He has never and never will be Brett Ormerod, so get over the fact that he strolls around, his game is too drop off not to make bursting runs beyond people. Saying that, personally I thought he worked his ******** off today, and as for your claim he is more interested in making space for his own shot than playing in a colleague, well **** me, a striker being selfish? Disgrace.
  17. I said this the other day in another thread. I know Olly Lancashire and he insists that neither of these two will be going anywhere in January. That said without them both we did pretty darn well today. Also think personally that Skacel could be off. Especially if that young lad from Everton at left back is supposed to be joining. Could free up wages to pay for Saga and Dyer.
  18. No. Because thats where his qualities suit. He gets the balls, runs, can go past players, i'd say he was best played as a winger in a 433. Even if we did play him as a striker with McGoldrick, there is nothing up there different to suggest a change in fortunes. We either need a big man to play upfront with one of them or stick with what the players are suited too and hope one striker pulls a miracle out the bag and starts scoring. That man could be Saga. I think he'd get alot of chances in this formation, its just whether he can finish.
  19. Everyone is claiming play 442 but who is ths other striker they are thinking we should play? Paterson, Robertson are guff and BWP is much more of a winger nowadays than a striker. This formation suits our players much more than 442. Its just our players are guff and inconsistent. I dont understand why people think we should be higher, we were in this posistion last year and we have lost our best players since then. What do you expect?
  20. Because the people who watch him think that because he's not Brett Ormerod and doesnt run round like a headless chicken that he is ****. I'm pretty certain that you ask anybody who watched him while he was playing in the reserves a few years ago, that they will tell you he's never been one that looks like giving a ****. Infact, random and slightly sad but I remember a post on this board a while ago after a reserve game saying something like "McGoldrick was **** today, we slagged him off all game, didn't look interested, couldnt be arsed at all, but to be fair he scored twice." Don't all top strikers say something along the lines of "The best bit of movement you can do as a striker is no movement at all. Standing still is just as useful" I certainly don't see players like RVN running there socks off. (He's alot better than McGoldrick and has alot better service, before anyone says "but RVN scores McGoldrick doesn't".) Also quite sad but I remember Beattie saying something about teaching our young strikers like Blackstock, McGoldrick and Best that chasing stuff down just gets you into posistions out wide where you cant score from. As I said earlier, Ormerod did that, and he scored like 4 times or something silly for us. When you play one up front, which is our best option because we have no other strikers worth playing, you dont want that centre forward whipping in crosses to nobody after he's just ran his arse off to get the ball off the left back. The kid does not look like he gives a ****. Yes he's been **** the last few games, he couldn't finish his breakfast against Forest, but he's our top goal scorer. He won us the game at Preston with a fine solo goal. I dont remember Stern John ever looking like he could give a toss but he scored goals. McGoldrick will score goals more than anyone else in our squad at the moment. Saga, when he gets back is about the only striker worth challenging him for a place in the team. Untill then, the kids been better than any other striker in our squad. Yes he's been inconsistent, but he's a kid, unless he's Rooney he's going to be **** but i'd rather him in the team than anyone else in our squad, quite simply because not one of the other strikers is doing ANYTHING worth shouting about. At least he's getting chances to miss, which is something I do not remember Robertson or Paterson ever having when they have played, and if someone says "They haven't been given a chance to play regulary like McGoldrick has." Then that is ******** also because Robertson has and Paterson cant even get ahead of him in the reserve side. BWP is a much better winger before anyone says anything about starting him upfront on his own and as for the mug who said play Skacel up front, well done clever clogs, play the only half decent player capable of playing left back who we were all crying out for to come back in at left back at the start of the season upfront on his own, when despite rumours saying otherwise he's never actually played there. I can't reply anymore because of the shocking 3 post rule.
  21. This 3 post thing is stupid. Anyway, if you think that under Pearson the team would be much different you are deluded. Saga, John and Rasiak would all still have ****ed off. We wouldn't have the genius (cough) that is Robertson we'd probably have someone of the quality like Pericard instead. We wouldn't have signed Morgan, who is argubly despite being injured every game one of our better players and we'd still be forced to play a bunch of kids who would be inconsistent. Also despite some of you thinking we were amazing against Bristol City and Sheffield United last season, we would be playing a poorer standard of football, more direct which really would not have suited our kids who have been bought up by George Prost who like this Dutch lot like the ball to be played along the floor. We'd be struggling, quite simply because our financial status has forced us to play a bunch of inconsistent kids, that who ever we have in charge has to accept. If Pearson had stayed, we'd be in roughly the same posistion watching some more shocking football and probably saying stuff like "Pearson has done a great job, keeping this side above the relegation those, hats off to the man." and the only reason Jan is getting all this stick is because the majority of the mugs on here and Saints fans in general have this hatred for Rupert Lowe, therefore anything he does, like appointing his own man gets slagged off, whereas if Pearson had stayed comments like "Well, Lowe can't take the credit because he was forced to appoint him after he saved us from relegation, its not his man" would be doing the rounds on this board. Get over your hatred for Lowe and anything to do with him. Accept were going to be ****, accept were going to struggle, anybody who thought any different is a mug. We've got a **** team and **** finances. Just accept football for what it is, stop bickering about stuff nobody can do anything about and be glad that despite us being **** weve actually played some of the best football weve seen at St Marys in a long time.
  22. If Robertson starts ahead of McGoldrick then were ****ed. McGoldrick is our top goal scorer, he may not be everyones favourite player but dropping your top goal scorer, who ever you are, is absurd. Other than that, I'm happy enough. Gillet has been bought in top combat the phsyical side of Plymouth as despite him being a dwarf he's likely to put his foot in. That is the only reason I can think of that Roberston is starting, because he's likely to be a bit more phsyical than McGoldrick. Shame he is guff.
  23. I'd much prefer to watch the pretty footy and get the odd point that were getting than watch Pearson do the exact same job while playing some shocking long ball football. Do you honestly honestly think that we would be doing any better under Pearson right now? Honestly ask yourself if you were expecting to be doing anything other than struggling this season when we scraped survival last year.
  24. I wouldnt say he is doing great things. He's taken a championship squad and club to the top of League One. Not a hard job really is it? Lets be honest at the end of last season, we scraped survival despite having a much better squad than alot of other teams around us, and we played some god awful football. I know a couple of players, and they much prefer working and playing for Jan than Pearson. Pearson and our youngsters would not have worked well together and thats something I've heard from those youngsters themselves.
  25. He's said that all along to be fair. Plus Pearson made us play some horrific football last season. At least under Jan were playing some decent football at times, even if we are ****e.
