Can't believe people are claiming we didn't create anything... Surman is going to have 2 or 3 more threads made all for himself after todays 2/3 vile attempts at scoring from 8 yards out. Euell has had at least 2 horrible attempts a goal plus a couple where his posistional sense and strength has given him everything he's needed to take a touch, look up, pick a spot and finish but only to see him prove he's got the touch of Ian Huntley and couldn't finish a packet of crisps. Plus I've just remembered Lallana's sitter. We created chances we just cant score.

My god Euell and Skacel are horrific. First half was stupidly boring, 2nd half was better and we should have won. I think we will be ok, its going to be close but 6 points from our next 2 would make this and the Derby point look alot better.

To be fair it was 1-1 when Saga was subbed. That said, I agree totally, the bloke, other than a few goals has done **** all and I have no idea where he has got this hero status from.

You are talking out of your arse. I love Surman, think he is our best player, we will miss him terribly when he leaves. The guy is quality and passionate. However, he was shocking last night, and that miss summed it up. It was a sitter, he should have at least hit the target. He didn't. Nevermind. However...to say that McGoldrick smashed the ball towards him is complete and utter ********, it was a nice, well placed, well weighted inside of the boot pass. McGoldrick quite easily could have smashed it towards goal, or smacked it towards Euell or Saga who were both hanging around the 6 yard box, but no, he looked up, saw Surman running in and played it behind everyone else into his path...what followed next was truely horrific.

My god you have spoke some **** here. James bar Perry was our best defender. Going forward not great but defensively I thought he did well today. Right place at the the right time. Skacel was ****ing ****e. I don't exactly rate him anyway mainly because he has never performed well for us, apart from the odd game here and there but tonight he was ****e. His crossing was guff, normally one of his saving graces, and him and Surman down the left, especially first half were embarrasing to watch at times. Some of their passing was hideous. There is not alot of intellagnce in him going forward either, he gets the ball, attempts a one two, if it works he whips it in, if not he chases back. Its a pretty simple game plan. And as for Lallana being no improvement on MS, bull****. Lallana touch and quick passing was a reason for our much better second half performance. Agree with Savage being MOM.

Anything we would have got today would have been a bonus. Tuesday is and always has been a must win game. Lets not get all depressed about the table and todays result. Concentrate on winning Tuesday and taking things from there.

Enjoyed him instigating the hug at the end. Showed the delight and togetherness of the squad.

If he hadn't made it I would have questioned why not. Great save but one alot of keepers would have made. Anyone got a video of that Blayney save by the way?

Both class today. How anyone can slate Gillet is beyond me. A little terrier in midfield and not afraid to take a touch, bring the ball under control and move it on. MOM for me.

Gillet for me. Tireless in midfield. Euell was also good, best game I have seen him ever play for us. McGoldrick was first class also. Centre backs were top draw aswell. Everyone except Skacel was good for me today. He couldn't cross a road. Love his composure in all situations though as mentioned above. Other than that I thought he was average like he has been ever since he has joined us.

No. What he is saying is because of the internet and mainly this thread a little incident has been taken well out of context and built up so much that the echo has got hold of the story and decided running it would sell papers therefore creating headlines that has stirred everyone up.

You seem to be working on the idea that he only asked when they were going to start doing the buisness. Logically, for them to apparently attack someone I would work on the assumption he did alot more than ask a question.

Best and most embarrasing thing i heard all day was the swing lowe chants after they scored. Was he really to blame for their second goal or should he'd have netted for us earlier? Everythings his fault isn't it.

We didnt play well no. Sheffield United were well organised yes. We didnt deserve to get beat but we did, mainly because a striker ran away last minute and scored a good goal while we were trying to win a game. Tad unlucky in my eyes but if you had asked before the game if we were expecting anything other than a defeat against 5th place you'd be laughed at. Fact is we played alright, nearly came away with a point we wernt expected to get but we were unlucky not too. **** it though, lets blame, Lowe, Wotte, the fact that Euell didnt start despite being ****, Skacel not playing despite wanting away and McGoldrick because he's not Brett Ormerod.

Euell is turd. That is probably the main reason he is not starting. Whoever (Lowe, Wotte) has decided not to start him gets my admiration.

Before Saga gets all the headlines can everyone at the game please confirm Wotton was by far the reason we got a point here. The guy was class. Saga scored 2 great goals but not a patch on Wotton.

The fact that you think Skacel and Euell are two of our most talented players is worrying. Players get hero status around here when they do not play. Same goes for Saga a bit, the fact that all 3 have done relatively **** all for this club (Other than Saga in his loan spell for us) goes unnoticed. Skacel is an average winger in this league who has done nothing but be half decent at left back. Stop making him out to be some sort of world class left winger who can score goals for fun. He's shown no sign of that whilst he's been here and for that reason it can only be a good thing that he is leaving this club and taking his wage demands with him.
