Looking forward to Southend and Colchester, but the ones I can't wait for are Carlisle (My uncle is a huge fan) and Brentford (I live with a Brentford fan and he always reminds me of the time they got a draw at St Marys)

Can we please get away from the idea that Lowe decided everything while he was at the club? Just because he is in charge doesn't mean he comes up with every idea and decides which ones to put in place. Maybe Wotte had some input too about Killer being a coach. Another thing I hate is the idea Lowe is responsible for our signings this season. He's not. We have scouts, coaches etc that would decide who they want to bring in, but if you read this site its like Lowe has scouted out the likes of Smith, Wotton etc and bought them in. All he's done is completed the deal with negotiations and stuff. This site is ridiculous for blaming Lowe for everything.

He's **** poor but yet he's the best we have. Him, McGoldrick and Euell must always play because they are our best chance of scoring goals, despite only ever McGoldrick looking like he has some sort of ability. Its all well and good playing the experienced players like Saga, Euell, Skacel and Wotton but they are all toilet.
-
Can't see it happening. If his brother is the one who's been known to be looking at clubs then i'm pretty sure if anyone is interested it will be him not his mega rich brother.
-
Personally would play this KD LJ JPS CP LM MS BWP AS DM MS JE But I fear Rudi will continue to play at the back and quite possibly Wotton will play ahead of Morgan which when you think about it wouldn't be that bad because at least he's a presence which will be vital against Watford.
-
Euell, as much as I hate him and his ability is still a massive black man who is a decent target man. He cant control a ball, strike a ball, and never looks like he knows what he's doing when the ball is anywere near him but he's someone we have to have in the team quite simply because he's strong and can sometimes bring someone else into the game. Whether they are any good or not, Euell and Saga should start the remaining matches because its our best option. As long as McGoldrick continues to play behind them.
-
Lets all be honest, the biggest mugs are the ones who turned up because Lowe had gone and wanted to save the club. Maybe if you had turned up before we wouldn't be in this posistion...
-
Can' believe people would prefer Saga and Euell ahead of McGoldrick. Sums up the intelligance of some of our supporters. He's our top goalscorer. The only one who looks like scoring and has played alot better than either of them lately. Euell couldn't striker a match and has the touch of Ian Huntley.

He's not agreed to sign for anyone. He didn't want to leave in January. He wants to play first team football here and not sit on the bench somewhere else. Weve rejected offers for him in january. He's been guff recently. That said its not from a lack of trying. It doesn't help he rarely gets passed the ball, which is when he's at his best but also alot of teams know he can be dangerous given time and have doubled up and man marked him since he started getting all his praise early on in the season.

Actually to add to that Lallana was non existant aswell.
-
Can't be arsed to read through all this but I assume Euell, Skacel, Saga and Wotton have been slated for todays performances? Horrific. Especially coming from so called experienced players... Euell and Saga couldn't finish there dinner.
-
Genuine question, if Lowe was the only option and offered to save the club, would they prefer the club to go bankrupt? Should be an obvious answer but I doubt it is for some people....
-
I shall be having one of them after a night out. Thankyou very much.
-
Has anyone wrote to Paul Allen yet?
-
You are a mug then. Were not worth saving if the majority of our fans would rather see the club completely disappear than watch a match, back the team and essentialy back the club while Lowe is in charge.
-
2 reasons most probably... 1) The money we got offered for some of these players probably was peanuts and wouldn't make much difference. (It was reported we got offered stupidly low sums for them on the last day of the window) and 2) Keeping them gives us the best chance of staying up, therefore a better chance to sell the club. I imagine if we stay up we could just about stay in buisness (as long as we get some sort of investment) however if we go down it could be cheerio Southampton.
-
You are a mug. Maybe we will go down. Maybe we won't. Who knows. Fact is it is in our hands whether we go down or not. We win all our games we stay up. Fact is we have a chance. Fact is going into administration ends that chance. Why would we be dumb enough to end that chance? If we had gone into administration, I have no doubt what so ever that you would have posted a thread on here slating Lowe for ruining any hopes of staying up, saying how he has a lack of faith in the players and how he has let the fans down.
-
My god he is horrific. Even more so at this level. Did sweet FA at Oldham and would do even less for us.
-
McGoldrick is twice the player Ormerod is/was. Ormerod is a fantastic bloke, great energy and a vital part off our best team for years but his ability actually was pretty non existant whereas McGoldrick actually has some. Not every striker has to be like Ormerod and run round like a headless chicken. Not every striker who doesn't run round like a headless chicken has a massive ego. I despise people who say things like that which is clearly a judgement of someone they don't know. Just look past your hatred of him, accept that McGoldrick is what he is and when you look at it is actually a talented player, whose our top goal scorer, and has looked alot better lately since he's got some support upfront.

Saints V Blackpool,2nd half discussion, sponsored by the Samaritans.
Hopkins replied to saint lard's topic in The Saints
They dont realise they are in a relegation battle? I hate comments like this, to think they dont care, realise where we are in the league, or are not doing there best to get us out of this mess is absurd. -
Its a point gained if Forest and Norwich etc lose.

To be fair to Euell he's done well the last few weeks. You can't defend his performance today and his actual ability when it comes to controlling a ball and nor can you argue the fact that Skacel has actually failed to perform for this club going forward and today got roasted by Routledge, who wound him up so much he resorted to getting skinned and then taking him out on a regular basis. You can slag McGoldrick off all you want, he was better than Euell today and I've never spoke to him in my life so i'm not his buddy but don't let that stop you slagging him for no real reason other than you like most people on this forum need a scapegoat despite him being alot better lately.
