The most cringeworthy thing about listening to that was the constant clapping after every question. Do it once. At the start and then get over it ffs.

I didn't say our midfield is doing the business did I? Berk. I said Morgan and Lallana are not imcompetent ****s. They have class touches and although I agree Lallana needs to create a bit more and work on his final product (although he's improved alot this season), they are two of the better players in this league. Also, it is not the same ****ing contest nonsense. It is fact. It is fact you do not watch games. It is fact your opinions are based on other peoples reports and assumptions. You simply cannot have a respected opinion on something you do not observe yourself. So instead of claiming people are imcompetent ****s, maybe you should stop going about and making wild assumptions/accusations and comments on players peformances when you simply have not seen it yourself.

You are one really anyone bloke. Morgan yesterday was pure class. His touch and passing range is above anyone else in this league. Lallana's touch also is sublime. They would walk into any team in this league and the majority of Championship teams. You're hatred for Lallana seems to be based upon him not being able to take a corner as that is all I ever see you slate him for. You're opinions are based on peoples reports because you don't actually watch games yourself (DO NOT REPLY, I SAW THEM ONCE AND THEY WERE ****E). When you can watch enough games to form an opinion based on your own views and not reports from other people then please come back. Otherwise do shut up.

He really didn't win everything today. Check the stats.
-
Jaidi and Trotman worry me. Both way to keen to win everything and Jaidi especially today was beaten too the ball a few times by there big centre forward. A few games to become match fit and he'll probably be better. Morgan was pure class today. Apart from two bad passes he was a touch above everyone on the pitch.

How much is it going to cost on the high street? Say if I want to play it at release time on the 30th where is best to get it? Last year, at 12am we just drove to our nearest Tesco and got it. Was playing it most of the night. Whats delivery like on Zavvi?

Love how people listening to a game on the radio have turned into experts.

Some people in this thread really do not know how Derren Brown works do they? Someone actually believes he fixed the machine? I read a post saying his cheeky grin will not get him off being sued. You berk. He clearly didn't fix the machine. He also clearly did not predict the numbers with the help with of 24 people. It was a trick. It was obviously always going to be a trick. Thats what he does. I watched it to learn how he could make people believe that he could predict it. That is what his show is about and if you really don't get that then it shows what an absolute gormless wazzock you really are. He made 24 people believe in themselves, that as a collective unit they can achieve anything they set their minds to including something that has a 1 in 14 million chance of occuring like predicting the lottery numbers. That has far more substance to it than actually predicting the damn things. He's an illusionist. He openly admits at the start of every program he does that he uses trickery, showmanship, misdirection, dishonesty etc. All to create the illusion he can do certain things. For example predict the lottery. If he'd come on screen and said "It was a camera trick" his career would be over. He wouldn't be able to carry on with his next 3 events. Everything he does is an illusion. You need to understand him before you start claiming what a disgrace it was. No idea what you expected as a show. But seeing as it was clearly a trick, and he even admitted this right at the end when he said "If anyone asks me how I did this, I will say it was a trick." I thought it was a pretty good show and one that has given off the illusion he predicted the lottery. Which is the point of everything he does. Illusion.

Having lived in Lucia Foster Welch for the final year he was in charge, which that Piano Bar is behind, I can confirm I have seen Burley stumbling out of there a few times and once also demanding a Cheese Burger in a local kebab shop. Hilarious it was. I liked him as a manager though.

Never. Going. To. Happen.

The fact that there is a genuine debate on a saints forum about whether John Terry and Frank Lampard are any good just goes to prove how retarded most of our fans actually are. John Terry and Frank Lampard are two of the best players in the world. The England captain and the best goal scoring centre midfielder in the world. Idiots. Just lock this thread its gone beyond absurd. Seriously, the people debating this subject should just go sit in the corner and think about what they have done. You should be ashamed of yourselfs.

Do we really need another Lowe thread? Forgetting him is pretty hard when everyone talks about forgetting him, therefore completely going against any point they are making. Anyway, Lowe helped us get this ground, whether we like it or not, he's part of our history, a pretty big part, and at times a succesful one. Trying to eradicate him from the boardroom by scratching his name out is pretty gay and pointless.

He's a winger. Not a striker. This is fact. He's played most of his career on the wing and occasionally wing back. He can play upfront. I wouldn't be suprised if he does for us as he gives us some much needed pace, but who ever has said he's a striker is wrong. This comes from numerous Italian football fans and italians themselves.

No creativi
-
Not at all confident with him at the back. Looks completely unsafe with the ball at his feet and trys to be to clever, for example leaving the ball thinking the lino was going to give offside only for the striker to walk the other way and Trotman leaves it to run out. Thought he was average at best today. How can you say he won everything in the air? Seriously? Clive Platt beat him and Perry time and time again. Can't wait for Jaidi and Thomas to be at the back instead.
-
I'm pretty sure they would base it on more than just his appearences for us this season. Maybe the fact that he was voted the 2nd best youngster in the football league last season? Maybe the fact that for an 18yr old he forced his way into a starting position against Man United last season. However, just to prove that you are indeed correct and that he doesn't deserve his call up and that as you say, there are many young players presently doing it for their clubs, go name your England U19 squad if you were in charge. When you are struggling you can admit you are wrong. Unless of course your knowledge of youngsters and their potential is better than the England coaches.

Team will be Davis Thomas Perry Trotman Harding Mellis Hammond James Lallana Lambert Paterson Waigo, Mills, Lancashire, Thomson, Holmes, Wotton, Bart Imo.
-
All the Italian football fans and the one Italian I know have said he's much more of a winger than a striker. Even played at Wing back a few times.
-
We did turn down a 500k bid for Lallana, early on in the transfer window. A few days after Surman left. I believe it was from Wolves or Stoke.
-
You are wrong. He was one of our best players. Anyway, Lets all do the Waigo! Lets all do the Waigo! La La La! Followed by everyone attempting that stupid dance. Would look ridicolous but fun!
-
Lets get one thing straight shall we. He is not a Serie A striker. He scored goals in Serie B but failed to make any decent impression in Serie A for Fiorentina. Hence the reason he's hardly played for them in the last year. How we managed to sign him as a league 1 club is beyond me though. He could do well in this league. Very well. But lets be honest, Serie B in Italy is worse than the Championship standard in England.

List the players still at SFC with suspect temperament/commitment
Hopkins replied to alpine_saint's topic in The Saints
When you say suspect temperament/commitment. Do you mean wanting to further their careers? I'd put Lallana/Morgan and I hope any other player in our squad in that list if thats the case. If you seriously believe that young players like Lallana/Morgan/Mills/Surman/McGoldrick/Walcott/Bale should not be looking to further their careers and play at higher levels and improve themselves as players just to please fans then you are seriously retarded. Young players have ambition and i'm pretty sure that doesn't include sitting bottom of the table in league 1. If they get the chance to earn more money at better clubs then I honestly do not see the problem. As Pardew said though, its when those players move knowing they will be sitting on the bench. Thats pretty stupid. But if they get the chance like Walcott to go and improve themselves at a top club, then I don't see the problem. Same goes for Morgan and Lallana. If they get the chance to play for a better club fair play. Untill then, the only way they are going to get a move is by playing well for us. We are a stepping stone club now. Get over it. -
A couple of things some people need to realise in this thread. 1) To the person claiming Notts County chairman is acting like a billionaire more than ours is. We have spent more money this window the Notts County. Fact. Wages maybe not but transfer fee's we have. 2) Claiming it is against the rules/spirit of the agreement etc. No it is not. Get your facts right. Donations to the club go towards the turnover of any club. Money the owner wishes to pump into the club, will increase the turnover of the club, therefore the wage budget goes up. Fact. Its clever. It means people with money can spend it. Its legal. Nobody cares except you by the sounds of it. The people that matter, eg The FA, The Football League, Lawyers etc, know it is perfectly legal. Get over it you idiots.
-
They are not breaching the rules. There is a perfectly legal loop hole that means that if clubs like Notts County get donations from someone then it is considered turn over. The donations come from there new owners. There is no breaching of the rules or anything sneaky going on. Its perfectly fine and legal.
