He's the focul point of there attack. To be fair, he was horrfic was for last time but he'd probably do a job for us. I have no doubt in my mind whatsoever that because its the News of the World its ******** though. He'll probably leave Carlisle to be fair and go to another League 1 club but i'd bank on us looking at more "long term" options.
-
I know a fair few Chelsea season ticket holders, you say he'll never get a game, but according to there fans he is probably there biggest hope amongst there youngsters. They are a little bit gutted for him that he's not played as much as they would have liked for us, especially as the little run he did have was ended by his exploits for England U 19's, when just before that he was class for us. Mellis himself, as posted above, has gone back because the manager wants him. I imagine he'll be used in January a bit by Chelsea, especially as Ancelotti has gone on record saying he has no plans to add in January and wants to use his youngsters.
-
Then he goes onto to genuinely suggest Danny "Hingingbottom". Not only is that not how you spell his name but to seriously think a regular in a Premier League side would think he has unfinished business at a League One club is just plain retarded. Well done.

You seem to be one of those people that takes certain things for granted. You seem like the sort of person that appreciates someone being a bit more all action than simple first touch and pass football. Morgan has a sublime touch, especially for this league, his flair, simpleness and composure is above anyone I have seen in this league and makes us alot more easier on the eye to watch. Case in example the leeds game where by all accounts we lacked somebody putting there foot on the ball and passing it. Long, short, switching it, whichever is needed. You mention Oakley, yet I remember when he was out injured for a while how much we missed him. Yet when he played people like yourself always commented how they don't see what he brings to the team. Oakley and Morgans play are so simple yet so effective. Look at some of the best midfielders in the world, Xavi, Iniesta, Fabregas, these 3 especially do the simple things, like simple touch and go football, something that Morgan does himself. IMO, he's our most vital and best player. I think he's got the most potential in our squad to go on and play at a higher level (For me, it wont be the Prem, he'll excel in France and might eventually come back here one day). He's a rare pleasure to watch in this league. He's so simple, compused and combined with his class/flair it just makes us so much better to watch and that little bit more effective. He's the player in our team that switches play out wide, to wingers/full backs, he's the player that combines best with little one twos with the likes of Hammond/Lallana. I can see where your coming from with some of your comments but I urge you when you next watch him not to take simple things for granted. Especially in this league where I challenge you to find me a midfielder that actually enables his team to get the ball down and pass it. Because I certainly have not yet seen a team come to our place and pass the ball as well as we do when we are at our best. I've seen teams play better than us, by being a bit more direct (Norwich, with Holt etc) and letting there flair players do there stuff up the field (Hoolihan) but I have yet to see a midfielder build something up against us like Morgan can for us.
-
So glad he was back. His flair, touch, range and vision is a class above any other midfielders in this league. Can easially go missing in a game and doesn't exactly run games on his own but he just makes us so much more pleasing on the eye to watch.

How many times have you actually witnessed Papa play or are they based on radio and reports? I'd guess at because your from Glasgow you don't seem him too often. So do shut up and realise that if this is the case and you don't seem him play, that your opinion counts for naff all. It really does baffle me how people can actually think they have an opinion on anything they have not witnessed. Comments like "Still has alot to prove" are fantastic. He can only prove it to you if you bother turning up.

They really didn't. That club was in a mess under Pardew. Parkinson sorted them out. He might have relegated them but they were well and truely gone by the time Pardew left. Maybe not mathamatically but menatlly and as a club they were fooked.

He has a game in half an hour. After the game maybe but I doubt before the game seeing as he's just been pictured walking into the dressing room.

An effective means of protest in the heart of Southampton ...

Nowhere near as good as the NY Grand Central one. -
Infact, scrap bits of my previous post. He's an agressive little all action midfielder according to someone who knows that league quite well. Good little creative passer aswell. And reading something about him on BBC it says he reads the game well. He certainly is not a striker.
-
I'm pretty sure he's an attacking centre midfielder. So all the people claiming he's only scored 2 goals and hoping were after another striker aswell as him are wrong in the assumption that he is a striker.
-
This is the rule on the face of it. However, what you seem to be forgetting is the way you can get round these rules by suggesting players were injured/unavailable for other reasons. I'm pretty sure that team would be fine. Rules like this only get enforced in extreme cases.
-
2nd post was accurate. It said there was a rule which stops people from playing for more than two clubs in a season. There is. The post was accurate. I don't know the ins and outs of the Paul Jones case but I suspect the arguement he had stood up a bit more than what Lamberts would be that "I want to play for a bigger club please." Everton would not have even discussed Lamberts name, let alone be interested in signing him. No Championship club will be making bids just yet because they can't sign him in January. You can appeal, but as I said i'm pretty sure the arguement you'd have would have to be better than just wanting to go up a league. Which is probably what the rule was bought in for in the first place, to stop players leaving for bigger clubs after only playing for a team for a few months.
-
44 posts on something that was pointed out in the 2nd post can't actually happen. This board is slightly retarded. As is anyone who actually thinks Everton are interested in him.
-
Can't and won't happen. There are rules that are imposed ensuring players cant play for 3 different teams in a season.
-
St Landrew and co will be calling for the game to be replayed I assume? Football itself was cheated again today. Disgrace. Hanging anyone and everyone is the only option.... No? Lino got every call spot on at the end aswell.
-
Antonio was pointless and Hoolihan was causing carnage in the hole. Correct call and Hoolihan was quickly subbed off so they could go wide because James marked him out the game with the diamond.
-
Lol, player plays poor and he's off. Mugs on this board crack me up.
-
The calls for technology have like you said been going on for years. Thats not where yours or peoples over reaction is laughable. The embarrasing over reaction is the calls for replaying the match, including your own absurd claim that they should start the game from the time in the game when it happened. That is why you are a berk. The reaction to one incident has been so over the top its made it look like the only incident thats ever happened like this, but cheating to change the outcome the game happens in every game up and down the country every weekend. Maybe it should be kicked out. (Although, personally i'd argue that cheating happens in every game, every move and every minute and that it could get so out of hand it would ruin the game.)Technology could help that but the fact is right now, the refs decision is final. Thats why this game and the result should stand.
-
Football itself? Shut up you berk. It's one decision ffs. Football has not gone wrong yet again at all. The goal should be allowed to stand because the ref decided at the time there was nothing wrong with it. Yes there was, and yes we know about it now and yes video technology or an extra ref behind the goal would have sorted it but everyone knew the rules before this game, everyone knew that there would be no technology to help them, there would be no extra ref behind the goal. If you are calling for the game to be continued on from that point again then why are you not calling it for basically every other game that Ireland played in this campaign where I can probably find you example after example of somebody cheating and it affecting the match. Not just every game Ireland played but every game that Saints have played this season. It's one game. One decision. Just because it was Ireland in the world cup doesn't mean it should get special treatment. Keane made a fantastic point about the Georgia game and a penalty decision that should never have been given. So what if he has a personal agenda? Every game has decisions that go your way or that don't. Thats football. All it is is one decision that in fairness to the ref he couldn't have called correctly from his position. As Keane said, get over it. Its something for Fifa to look upon, however football games are full of cheating, every single game people cheat. It's just another game, just another decision. It's the way football has always been and we have the same boring talk after every BIG game decision. How you can argue the point about it being anyone other than Ireland we wouldn't care is beyond me. If Keane had scored his chances and Doyle had taken his in the game, we wouldn't be talking about this Henry incident at all. The over reaction is laughable.
-
Its a factual point though. Seriously, who would really give a hoot? The over reaction is laughable amongst the media and this country.
